You've hit on a point I've made consistently -- why should wealthy men hold back to keep the market low for others. If I really want someone, I do what it takes within my means, whether in sugar babying or real dating. The guys complaining about keeping prices down will get outbid by me. Jeff Bezos will outbid me every time. So will you, it would seem from your post. But that's just fine. If you've got a giant bankroll as a weapon in your arsenal, none of us should be telling you not to fight off your competition without using it.

I find your comment about turning the would be escorts into long-term babies to be an interesting one too. Many here deride that approach as "captain save a ho." But I understand it. I've done it a few times. It was fruitless more often. The couple times it worked out, it was great. Don't get me wrong. I'm not out there trying to rescue drug abusers and the equivalent of backpage girls (or whatever sites replaced it).

A lot of good points being made by a few different posters. My 2 cents:

1) The SA sub price chases away most of the truly "cheap" guys who waste their time and gas running after the LC / STG girls and wasting way more of their time and energy than they might otherwise spend if they went a little higher quality or even the SB route. It's my read that MOST of the guys that regularly post here are NOT the "cheap" guys.

2) Bezos will outbid you every time, but Bezos isn't bidding Ferrari prices for a Ford either. My original post I wasn't scolding the guy for paying too much necessarily, just pointing out that he's paying new sports car prices for a used sedan so to speak. Someone can pay $300 for a haircut or get a $30 cut, that's up to them and their preference. But walking into a "Great Clips" or other budget salon and paying 300 for a 30 haircut isn't a great decision, and if I see a guy doing it, I feel like I should give them a heads up they are way overpaying.

3) The market supports what the market supports. Fortunately, there's a much larger supply of SBs than Bezos SDs, and most SDs in the higher earner market aren't playing in the same market as I am. They can pay top dollar for the wannabe instagram models, I'm very content with my 200-300 alt / hippy girls and late 20's single moms.

No. They're not missing the point. The point you keep trying to make with your over paying "argument is the exact same point others are trying to make with raising the market. If I as an older dude pay a beautiful younger woman $400 to spend to bang when I have the time to do so, means she's getting some extra bucks because I'm older and most likely outside the norm of what she is usually attracted to. You are partly missing the point of many of the comments on this topic. It is about not "holding back". It's about overpaying for what you can get for less. If it turns you on to pay $500 for a girl who would accept $250, then go for it, but you are still overpaying.

The market decides how much these girls are worth.. and individually, we are one small part of the market. The point is to not pay above the market price, unless again, you have a fetish for doing so, in which case I suppose carry on..

There are more reasons to pay extra on a case by case basis than simply "a fetish for doing so." For example:

-- It's true that a general market as you describe exists. But the market price doesn't apply to every data point within it. If there's a woman who insists on more (despite efforts to get her to take less), one might overpay versus the market just to close the deal with that particular woman.

-- In other cases, with an inexperienced younger sugar baby (not a hardened veteran), overpaying the first time can get her comfortable and set the stage for a better long term arrangement (assuming, of course, that a longer term arrangement is your goal).

-- Paying more can save lots of time spent messaging countless additional women trying to find one who will take less. This is the reason for me when I'm traveling. I don't generally overpay, but I do when I'm out of town and need to close a deal for that specific night. I overpay every now and then at home too when I'm swamped at work. For very busy professionals, I think this is the most common reason.

A fetish for overpaying seems a lot less likely to me as a motivator than the reasons above. And there may be other rational reasons to overpay than just these from off the top of my head.

I love debates like this. For me I'm about the lifestyle, I don't care about the money I enjoy giving it. And I enjoy fucking beautiful women. I'm pretty much at 300 ppm minimum and if I like them and keep seeing them it starts to go up. If they go on vacation with me those are different situations but I don't ever let them walk away from the table feeling like they were underpaid. BTW my favorite SB who became my wife briefly ended up with 30 k on 90 days hahaha.

I'm one of those who often debates the same couple of cheap guys on here who get angry that wealthy guys pay more to secure a prime sugar baby than they are willing to pay. However, the key word in my sentence is "prime. " I really can't argue with these guidelines at all. I'll pay 300 to 400 (and once or twice, a little more) for a gorgeous sugar baby in her early 20's, before father time diminishes their bodies -- that's a prime sugar baby. If you're paying north of 300 for a woman in her 30's or 40's, you're paying way more than you need to for a quality woman in that age bracket, who is now too old to be prime, no matter how well she keeps herself up as compared to others her age. You may prefer the MILFS. I love them too (although I wouldn't say I prefer them). But I also know they're in lower demand and I don't need to pay as much for them.

This wasn't a post looking for advice on what everyone else offers women over a certain age. I've read all of those posts. I was looking for information on the ladies I had included in my post.
