NO. That is NOT how that bar works, and "Hello Bob" is on the wrong side of the Dunning Kruger curve here.

On the one hand, yea, HX has problems. BUT:

This guy Bob is full of himself, and does not know what he is talking about AT ALL.

He may know a small amount regarding how websites work, but the BULK of his claims are PATENTLY FALSE, and he's just talking out of his asshole. He thinks he knows javascript, but he is beyond ignorant for sites in general, and HX in particular.

It seems more than half of that video was surrounding the irrelevant claim that the Excom "Slider" was an image, and Bob's limited understanding of how websites work: in short he sounds like a typical entitled millennial, at the first peak of the Dunning Kruger curve, and thinking that because he's heard the word "javascript" he must now be a subject matter expert. LOL.

He's not.

I will now completely destroy any credibility Bob might have had:

1) It is TRUE that the slider is an image. (can't do embedded images here apparently).

2) BUT It is also true that EVERY POSITION of the slider ARE IMAGES. In fact, it is a set of 6 images. See the attachments herein.

3) HX was built as a PHP site. PHP sites commonly reduce presentation to a series of images, especially in the old days, and VERY especially for things that are not used often, like the Mod / Cen page, which as far as I can tell is unchanged since circa 2008.

Sure, JS might be used for modern dynamic items, but the use of JS and doing everything client-side is a relatively recent design pattern. Humaniplex is in essence a model-T Ford. The last real upgrades of the mail system and the network system were like over 10 years ago. That's 100 in dog years. Or something.

Secondly, it takes HUNDREDS of votes to make that damn thing even move. And as you can see, the slider moves in giant increments, so it will not appear to budge until a very substantial number of votes are cast.

Third, CJ received less than 200 excom votes, and the median level was level 2. Vote strength is weighted by level among other things.

FOURTH: the system does not indicate the number of "disagree" votes that are cast.

As this seems to be the main basis of Bob's claims, he fails on the face of it.

I usually don't post here much but I feel like I want to drop my 0. 02 cents on this whole drama.

First of all what the hell is this guy doing? If he actually does what he said he will do in the end of this video its just fucked up for everyone in the website. All of that just for a review club? We are in an age where GPS is rampant on PD and HX is the only place where there is a degree on accountability on both sides and the last thing I want is for that to be taken away because of some soap opera.

Also, I couldn't help but crack up at the part he said that he didn't let that guy in the club simply because he has a lot of enclave girls on his network so he suspected that dude is a booker. Finally, I never gave a crap about joining review clubs on HX since the website by itself has a system where it encourages members to trade info via PMs and the best part about that is the info is not usually placed on full view where it can piss off some girl who is ripping off clients. Most of them know if they don't stick to their menu or provide shitty service the word of mouth gets around and there is a decrease of traffic for them even without a review club and the same can be said of a website like here where honest info is shared without fear of retaliation.

Good for Bob exposing shady admin and certain club owners on the site. I'm glad someone finally done it. Many of you must be crazy if you really believe admin is that innocent. Privilege removal, sharing your PMs with other members, members getting access to your PMs, admin being bookers themselves, etc. So this safety club admin is up there with LAChineseguy, Fubar, etc? I've had run ins with these guys a few years ago in the past, disagreeing with things I found shady. What did they do? Removed all of my privileges (no voting / muting), and they gave blog members access to my PMs, and screenshots of my PMs, where they'd PM me showing me what I was saying, and made blogs mocking word for word. This also include female members. I was in this review club, and recognized a couple of those members. Back to my point. Admin is SHADY. Bob's Club was a very useful club. It was the first honest review club that told the truth about the women of HX. The ones that had the bad reviews in Bob's club were screaming the loudest to have the club shut down. My hunches about some of the ladies were confirmed in that club. I really hope it comes back but I would be interested in seeing HX ladies again.

Bob was flexing and throwing his weight around, but I understand why he did it. He had a big target on his back and there was a line of people taking shots. In some ways, I don't mind the club being gone because all the highly rated girls will just raise their prices.
