Excellent point! Folks of a certain age expect people to call back missed calls or get numbers from caller ID.

Since she doesn't text, YOU NEED TO LEAVE YOUR RETURN NUMBER IN VOICE MAILS, the same as if you've called a business or a land line.

Personally, I don't return missed calls that I don't recognize because: 1.) I'm not in high school 2.) Many are scammers, some even bill you back like old school 900 numbers 3.) If you can't make the effort to leave your contact info in the voice mail, why do I care?

I spent some time in mortgage banking, including a stint in collections. Some very expensive homes have owners who can barely afford them. Then, the Mr. gets caught with his pants down. She dumps him, forcing the sale of the home. He can't make the mortgage while it's for sale, so he invites the working women that got him dumped to rent.

While there are plenty of folks who can comfortably afford homes in any price range, a perfect example of someone who couldn't was Fotis Dulos. I worked cases where someone bought million dollar plus properties and missed the first payment.

There's a house currently for rent in Old Saybrook for $25 k / month. Yikes!

This Higganum thing is getting interesting & suspicious. I texted 1 of my fav providers, Alley (see link above) , & asked her where she's located & she gave the Oxbow Higganum addy & as mentioned prior, the location is a luxury home.

Up until recently Alley was in Meriden staying with the "haircut" provider Cammie so idk but I'm not taking a chance. I'm thinking of calling Alley to see if I can get some info & if I do I'll be sure to share info on forum.

Looking at the listing for that place, it sold in 2015 for $675 k. It's been on and off the market, and during the smoking hot first quarter of this year, it's actually been reduced during it's 76 days on the market.

There is a possibility, albeit remote, that someone is renting the home and subletting rooms to ladies, or the owner is renting rooms. There are nicer, larger, and more expensive homes in the area listed for rent, on both realtor sites and AirBNB, so it's not completely implausable.

I had the same result. I texted Alley, who almost never replies in a timely manner, and instantly got a reply with that address. That makes 4 women who usually frequent the Meriden area now saying they're at the same house. Just too sus for ol' Nick to stick his dick out.

If she does call back, she does it from another number. FYI in case you are ignoring her calling and unaware of it. Other than that, not sure what you're saying and how you sound when you say it. You say you're almost always nice, but I guess that could be a subjective judgment and you might come off some other way. Another possibility is that if she thinks you're a certain race, she will not be interested.

If she is calling back using a different # maybe that's why. I am always nice, unless they give me an attitude. I've never even talked with her, so my messages shouldn't be an issue. Oh well, Ill keep trying.

Her public number only collects messages. Suggest short, coherent, intelligent sounding messages that don't mention anything illegal. If you're already doing that, you certainly might be ignoring her return calls from another number.

I don't know for sure, but I can imagine her ignoring calls from people who sound too young, drunk, very pushy, incriminating, etc. She's a very nice person if you get to meet her, but she's been at it for decades and a veteran of strip clubs, so I'd have to bet she doesn't put up with much.
