I am sure I'm not the only one who ventures south occasionally for fun times. Cedar Creek is fairly popular with some well-known girls, and until now, the "other" side of 95 has never given me much pause, until TWO shootings last weekend, one fatal.

Anyone who might feel the urge to make a round trip this weekend should definitely be aware of increased uncle presence, including ALPR.

The CDC is investigating one of the worst meningococcal outbreaks in USA History. Because of the outbreak in Florida, the agency has reported at least 26 cases and 7 deaths with approximately half of the outbreak cases among Hispanic men.

I wonder what sudden, coincidental, major defect was either intentionally searched for, or otherwise manufactured to get this shithole shut down after the latest incident?

Now if they would just conduct the same random inspections at ever other joint on NBA. Maybe bulldoze the whole damn stretch between Wakemed and Hedingham Blvd while they're at it.

It stays that way. I think its an easy way for them to shut it down without too much behind it. Sad thing is Its all the same people staying at these hotels On New Bern when they get kicked out of other hotels that's how they all end up at Hotels like Quality. Most times the owners will put up with it until they can't anymore and rid the place of them. But I imagine the Owners at Quality really didn't care at all now their forced to close. So those people gone just go back to taking over another Hotel more than likely Wake Inn. Knights Inn, Micro and Raleigh Inn has at least tried to put the effort into cleaning up a little bit as you don't see many people hanging out there like they used to.

Wouldn't you love to own a house in Hedingham? The condo section (rentals) has caused problems out there for 20 years. Now they are going to build a townhouse and apartment community diagonally across from that motel. NBA is and will be an endless stretch of nuisance and mayhem for decades to come. Just stay away.

Not only that. But that Big Warehouse they just Built right behind it is Going To be an Amazon Delivery Station, Right Now Knightdale and Raleigh is fighting for Ordinance over it before they open it. Plus is that School that's right beside that Hotel Open? If so it surprises me that the City has not pushed to get that Hotel Shut down sooner just for that very reason of a school being located right by all that crime.

Last nights news had Amanda reporting about the shooting while another serious event occurred with a woman being dragged into an SUV which crashed into three cars at the intersection. News person added that approximately 400 911 calls from that neighborhood in the month of April alone. Maybe multiple calls when gunshots or mugging but that's got to be high on the RPD places to apply pressure.

They need to close down that ratchet ass hotel. It's surrounded by police cars almost every night. Seems like there is a shooting there at least once a month.
