I'm not sure if it was SDAG or a different agency, but they told me if they were going to call, they were just going to say they're looking for proof of employment for some type of loan.

If you are at work, and you have an extension number. They call and ask to be transferred over to you. This is just to verify you work where you say you do. Obviously this doesn't work out for everyone. This was how I was verified a long time ago.
