Maybe I don't partake as often as some here but cancellations are very rare for me. I used to get the occasional cancellation from quirky Joy / Glow, but besides her the last one was pre-COVID with M and she was very apologetic. Probably had all of 2-3 in my years with M and haven't had any from PKL or SA since they opened shop. I think it helps that I usually make same-day appointments or if I pre-book, it is just one day in advance. Some of you are are talking about giving more than 24 hours notice to cancel which suggests you book multiple days out. Do you have the volume to justify this level of service? I don't agree with it, but I can kind of understand a booker cancelling some guy that only visits once a month who prebooked Jean a week in advance so that a guy that visits multiple times a week can get an appointment.

I've been cancelled on twice, while waiting parked in front of the apartment. First time was due to accidental double booking. The second time was due to provider not showing up for work. Different girl both times. All I got was a "sorry". Wasn't even offered a discount for a different girl or future visit.

On the topic of getting banned. Do we get unbanned? If yes, for how long are we banned before letting is book again?

This isn't some school or government organization that has rules and set penalties for certain violations. Maybe the Booker was having a bad day and was in a bad mood. Maybe it was some response from you (I've seen guys leave out details from their stories because they don't want to admit any perceived bad behavior on their part). You can try again or try to apologize and get back in their good graces.

It's not as slow as we may think. Some bookers have girls who are busy all day and they don't want last minute cancellations which, regardless of how busy they may be, still don't want to throw away $300. I'm sure they view each cancellation on its own merit but if you're pre booking and object then maybe you shouldn't prebook.

The agencies are the ones providing the business so they set the rules, but they should consider a balance of power within that business too. It seems one-sided and deterring when they get to charge cancellation fees for mongers cancelling, but also have the ability to flake out on the mongers consequence free when the bookers screw up. I get the rationale behind the cancellation fees and I'm sure plenty of mongers have been shitty towards them about it, but they should acknowledge their faults as well and come up with a system that feels somewhat fair for both sides. If a booker offers discounts for their f up, I'm sure mongers would feel more willing to pay for their cancellation as well. Otherwise they're just going to fall into a cycle of losing businesses, which only amplifies the loss from that cancellation in the first place.

At the end of the day though, none of these bookers are actual business professionals. They're just retired provider turned mama-sans that probably never had any other opportunities outside of providing as they got too old to provide. I doubt any of them are actually educated about business practices. I'm usually very careful with my booking and try to minimize any interactions with the people on the other side of the phone screen because they're generally very unpleasant, overly dramatic, and unreasonable human beings that I want no part of.

I know from my years of experience in the K-girl world the reverse has also been true. There have been times where an appointment was cancelled last minute due to a girl not feeling well or maybe a plumbing problem that required workers to enter the apartment. In the cases I'm familiar with there were steps taken to mollify the disgruntled or disappointed monger such as the offer of another girl or, as mentioned, a discount for a future appointment. They are not stupid or heartless and understand that these things sometimes work both ways. In my experience the hard line is usually taken with those who they find to be somewhat of a pain in the ass.
