Well, since no one has seen this one recently, I TOFTT. She's been on STG since the end of May. Are you guys out there slacking off? The latest link is above and her number has changed to an 860 number.

I heard AMPs can be raided but a motel room is your private ones and no one can enter without warrant.

In Manchester, AMPs are regulated by the Health Dept, not the Police Dept. This means that they can be *inspected* by the Health Dept but they can't be *raided* by the police without a warrant; for example, health dept inspection turns up evidence of drugs / prostitution, then police can use that to get a warrant. Most of the time in CT when I've seen an AMP that has been shut down, it's because of health or labor violations not an LE bust, although of course those happen too and get the publicity. Public chatter on sites like this or rubmaps are enough for probable cause to get a LE warrant for the AMP, but not enough to nail a specific monger.

I don't think LE can *search* a hotel room without a warrant, but believe they can enter if they in "good faith" feel that a crime is in progress or someone's safety is in danger. It seems like most of the motel busts aren't really about prostitution, it seems like most of them start out as drugs or someone complains about a fight in the room, something like that. Personally I think there's way less chance of getting busted in a motel room than an AMP as long as you and the lady are at least minimally discreet. People go to cheap motel rooms all the time for sex, so IMO even if you're caught with a known prostitute it's not a crime unless there is some physical evidence of cash changing hands for that occasion. Of course the biggest danger from a motel situation is that it is simply a straight LE sting operation from the get-go.

Interesting question posed "can LE raid a hotel room"? Let me offer my non legally sound opinion and let others chime in.

Two words come to mind: "probable cause". If someone you've hired is being watched, I'm pretty sure that suspicion of prostitution and solicitation are all it would take for LE to enter your room. I might be wrong, and so too might LE, but you'd still have been arrested and had you're life up ended (expect arrest records to appear in print and online).

Prior to the pandemic, the state of CT seemed to be on a mission to eliminate AMPs. They were possibly motivated by a nationwide crackdown on sex trafficking. If memory serves, a state task force was created. I suspect (but don't know) that this took a hiatus for dealing with the pandemic.

I'll close by stating the obvious: this hobby of ours cannot be made one-hundred percent safe from the clutches of LE or any number of perils (robbery, extortion, disease, etc.). That said, I'd feel much safer visiting a long-standing reputable AMP like DD or SN than I would hitting it with an unknown escort. Forget about streetwalkers!
