Ask that you want to be verified by some other way. They will either ask for pictures of a business card and / or driver's license and / or credit card. I didn't mind taking that risk and sent pictures.

Before that I used to stick to massage parlors and rubmaps only. If you haven't tried massage parlors, Imo they are the most newbie friendly.
