The same with Cherry (I can't remember her Club O name. Natasha, maybe?

Could not agree more, always loved getting dances from Eastern European dancers. Bobby's Bar had several of them and we just called them the Euro Babes. They all retired and moved to a warmer climate or back home in Europe. Great bodies and great dances, miss them all.

Hi, Jimmy, thanks for the input. Earlier in this thread I mentioned that I hadn't been to Club 390, located at 390 East Joe Orr Road in Chicago Heights, for about a decade or so. I corrected that by paying a visit during one afternoon last week, around the 2 pm hour, and here's my take.

Located in an industrial park, there was plenty of parking in a lot that looked fairly secure and thankfully with no pretentious valet service like at Polekatz in Bridgeview. It wasn't overly busy--maybe about eight guys--and during the rotation while I was there I saw four to five dancers either on stage or circulating about the room. There were no driver's license scans or indeed any folks at the door to process you. The bar is on the east wall of the club and there was plenty of seating that was situated in a tiered-like fashion around the stage. A DJ was in charge of the music, and the bartender from whom I ordered a Diet Coke also collected the cover charge of $5, though I'm unsure if that's the daytime fee or the fee all the time. On the TVs there was a rotating slide deck promoting different dancers and advertising specials. Of note is that dances are $10 on Wednesdays, which sadly wasn't the day I visited.

I was on the lookout for any Black dancers, as my tastes run that way, and I caught up with Mya, a 20-something spinner type, light complexion, long black hair, B- or C-cup, and a tight booty. We got to talking a bit--she said she had recently returned to Club 390 after about a two-year hiatus, and while we conversed we were lightly caressing each other. We then proceeded to the dance area, which is off in the northwest corner of the club. There's a staff member who checks the dancer in, and then one proceeds past a doorway to a long hallway with several booths that each have three walls and a beaded curtain that constitutes the opening to the hallway. The couch is amply padded and there's a small round table on which to set your drink.

I asked about the price structure and Mya advised that they were $30 each for a nude experience. Note that "nude" is relative: she wasn't completely naked head to toe, but kept part of her footwear on as well as part of her top, but all the lady bits were there for one's enjoyment, which is what's important. Mya's dances were good with decent mileage and she's really pretty and has a perfectly toned body--as such it made for a nice afternoon experience. Alas, I hadn't come into the club ready to throw down serious coin like Rwon46 did earlier in his post in this thread, but $60 was spendy enough for me. On our way out of the dance area, she gave the money to the staff member who recorded it, and we walked back to the main area, chatted briefly a little more, whereupon I left after finishing my drink.

Pros: lots of parking; no license scans, cheap cover charge; very nice private booths, decent mileage on nude dances; Mya was both sexy and pretty cool.

Cons: DJ spins music, though to his credit the songs didn't seem too short; relatively expensive dances, especially considering it was the day shift on a weekday.

Verdict: would I go back? Yes, but I think the greatest value would be going on a Wednesday, which I might try in the future. Hell, at this point one could create a three-day string of value-laden strip club visits where there are $10 specials: Industrial Strip in Hammond on Monday, Polekatz in Bridgeview on Tuesday, and Club 390 on Wednesday.

Went to Club 390 today (Saturday) in the afternoon. The amount of girls was the same as the amount of customers (about 10). All girls were beautiful. Went for a dance. It was $20 per fully nude dance (was there recently and it was $30 per dance when I went), The dance with the first girl was okay. Just went for 1 dance. After the dance I started waiting for a girl who we talked when she was on stage. She was already talking to someone when I got back to my seat. I waited for a bit, and one dancer came up, and we started talking. Went for a dance thinking stage girl would be available when I get back. It was definitely a better dance than the first girl. While she was dancing, she talked about wanting to have more fun with me. This led her to talk about the champagne room. I caved in and went to the champagne room. The room was $380 with $50 tip for more privacy for 30 minutes. The champagne room with her had more mileage what you would expect in the regular dances (probably a given). I gave her a huge tip for the fun we had. All in all it was great. I honestly forgot about about stage girl. Never had any extras being offered at any club, and didn't expect it since I went recently, and no one brought it up. Had to take it when I had the chance. It's something I'd try again. For anyone wanting to have fun with a girl, I'd get an agency or independent girl. You'll get the same services, but much cheaper. If you don't want to get screened, then this is the best next option.

I'll echo what NiceChicaGaGuy said: there's little likelihood of any extras and it's unlikely that your mileage will be high unless you happen upon the right dancer, and finding the right person could take awhile, if it even happens at all--note that in my report Colombiana was the fourth dancer I had that night at All Star. I very easily could've struck out.

What's working against the patron in places like these is the lack of privacy in the common room where dances take place--as in no dividers and plenty of cameras that are indeed monitored, as evidenced more than once when the bartender (who could've doubled as a bouncer) came into the Man Cave to holler at someone, in one instance pointing at some dude and growling, "You! You're done. " Also there are no purely private rooms, unlike the old setup at Louie's. At that point, the experience you have is largely dependent upon the dancer's creativity, talent, and ability to work within the stated limitations. That said, at least at All Star you can touch the dancer, unlike at Heavenly Bodies where you'll get kicked out if you grab a handful of breast or booty. (Note that this used to not be the case at HB, say, 20 years ago.).

Anyway, I think two factors worked for me during that visit at All Star: I was extremely lucky in finding Colombiana (my unicorn that night) and I was willing to spend money for a sustained time with her (in other words I didn't cut it short / cut her loose after a song or two).

I've never been to Atlantis, so it'd be hard for me to make any specific comparisons. As I mentioned in my review, All Star is fairly comparable to the Mannheim club scene in that it's more like a neighborhood bar that features dancers and is decidedly not like a high end nightclub that features dancers, which seems to be what Louie's is trying to pivot towards--see the discussion in the Melrose Park thread. I guess we'll see Louie's can pull that off.

In my All Star review I note that I was a fan of the former Mannheim scene, which was largely due to geography (not too close to home and not too far from home) and mileage that could vary wildly depending on the night, the club, and the dancer (and the phase of the moon). Part of the fun was that you didn't have guarantees as to how the night was going to turn out. In its heyday, Melrose Park and Stone Park had several lingerie bar-type clubs between them: Bobby's Bar, Carl's Bar, J's, Louie's Lounge, One Step Beyond, and Playpen. Of those, J's, One Step Beyond, and Playpen are now shuttered, and of the ones that remain open, only Carl's has dancers at the moment and Louie's has the aforesaid plan which they're launching this month, and Bobby's is in a sort of wait and see situation.

For all of its sleaziness I have to say I miss Playpen, both in its older days and in its final incarnation. As Woody Allen said, "Is sex dirty? Only if you're doing it right. " I still remember the long-gone place across the street from Playpen. If I had kept my paychecks from the late 90's I'd be a rich man today.

Unless you find a unicorn, your mileage is likely to be low. There is no full nude, topless is $20, but as stated elsewhere are at least full songs (although shitty ones). Some grinding, but nothing like you're likely to get at 390. Like I said, I did get a number and tip suggestion from a chubby but cute day girl about 2 -3 years ago, but she's gone.

Basically this is for the guy who gets out of work, comes here for a little tease, and gives what he got to his wife when he gets home. But if your expectations stay low you'll have a pleasant enough time.

As much as I'd rather have full nude and J's style playing here, what's offered here is a reasonable alternative (I did get offered OTC here once, about two years ago). The only problem is the relative lack of dancers (admittedly, Monday had a few no-shows). The result is that it's like a high school dance, with guys hanging around the edges waiting patiently for a girl to bestow a smile on them. But until Stone Park gets back on its feet (if ever) this is a reasonable alternative.

I had long been a Melrose Park-Stone Park lingerie club aficionado, but recent events in that neck of the woods (see the Melrose Park strip club thread) meant that I needed to find an alternate club. I hadn't been to All Star, located at 7949 47th Street (just about seven blocks west of Harlem), for five to ten years and thought it was worth a visit earlier this month.

I started out in Stone Park, for I was contemplating going into Carl's Bar, so getting to McCook was just a 20 minute drive south. It was fairly busy, but I managed to find a parking spot on Joliet Avenue, right across the street.

The entrance is on the north side of the building: I walked into an anteroom and then a bouncer opened the door. They scan your license (which I'm not a fan of, but whatever), and they do a patdown / wand check for weapons, and then you pay the cashier the $10 cover fee. I wore a mask when I went in, and one is absolutely required during dances proper. I only briefly took my mask down to sip the pop I bought at the bar (about $3). I noticed some folks kept their masks on while others had theirs off, especially if they were seated at a table and drinking.

The main room where the bar and tables were situated was about 20 feet by 40 feet. Restrooms and some gaming machines were along the south wall, while the bar is along the west wall. There is a separate room with less lighting called the "Man Cave" where the dances take place, and it's entered via a doorway (sans door) on the east wall. I think the dimensions of that room were about 12 feet by 30 feet. There were easily over 40 patrons, though admittedly I didn't take a careful count, including a couple (meaning that All Star is couple-friendly). There were about 12 dancers of varying ethnicities, mainly a mix of white and Latina, and, eventually, I saw two black dancers..
