I did write a bit about the two kinds of SBs on this thread if you search back the last few weeks. There are scammers (more than half of profiles), girls (who are just out for the money, some will put out with the right amount of money) and women (many are for the money but the rare few don't even need it, if they like you, you f*ck for free). The trick is to find the latter kind. After a while, you can get good at weeding out the scammers. Then it's a numbers game and a bit of luck. Please know I have sent out more than a few hundred 'Hi! How are you doing? Would you like to chat? Blah, blah, blahs'. It takes work, just like trying to find a good SW, but this way you are not wasting gas driving around nasty neighborhoods, you are doing this from the comfort of your home, you only head out when you are sure you have a hit, and you do get a much better quality of woman than a SW. I also did get scammed for $100 by that Thieving Wh*re Alexisprincess1992 but am actually in the midst of Wild Goose Chase II right now, will post an update shortly.

Actually, I do not even leave for the pick-up unless I hear from the girl 30-60 minutes before pickup. I happened to me this weekend with a SB I'd seen before. We were texting all day about getting together. 60 minutes out, radio-silence, I refused to drive out there and waste my time. Good thing because I never hear from her that day. Then after she says she fell asleep which is BS since I knew she was working until we met. So I let her have it about sending a text. Yesterday, she was much better about texting to cancel when she couldn't make it.

Hotel Tonight is another good app for last-minute bookings. It's quick and easy, and I've always found good options at reasonable prices at the last minute. Sometimes even exceptional four star options. I'd never pre-book on a first meet. Just no need to, and the cost of one no-show outweighs any benefit you get from pre-booking.

I also learned to send a confirmation text in the morning of a first meetup. If no response, and I'm really interested, I'll send a second text with a politely worded, but specific deadline (eg, 2 pm) to hear her response. After that, I drop it entirely and delete her from my memory. No matter how incredible she seems. There's no point in getting belligerent about it. Dealing with fakes and flakes is part of the experience of the bowl. And some of the real gems I've found were newbies and legitimately skittish about their initial meeting. Without a bit of persistence and some willingness to be fooled, I probably would've never met them.
