Not the OP here, but I feel that a fake LinkedIn isn't the problem here. It's having the fake profile match the name on the other forms of identification you're providing. So either you have a full set of fake IDs setup for this or you'll have a LinkedIn account with a different name on the photo I'd you provide them. If it's on its own, the fake profile may work but in conjunction with other things it would be more difficult tying the profile's name to your I'd's name.

Since it was my post that got the ball rolling on this topic, thought I'd chime in with a few follow-up comments.

First, to do a good job at it would absolutely require an investment in time and creativity. It might also require some trial and error, by which I mean ditching a profile that didn't satisfy you and trying again. For mongers who are fine with providers who don't require verification at all, or minimal verification (like provider references), this wouldn't make sense.

Second, a fake LinkedIn account certainly isn't going to work for any provider with an over-the-top verification process that requires the monger to provide multiple sources of PII. It would only work for providers who are somewhere in the middle of the verification spectrum. Also, as we've all experienced, the verification process is its own negotiation of sorts. Sometimes a provider wants to make the appt but needs a little something, like some kind of work-related info, to raise her comfort level. By combining hobby phone + hobby email + hobby name + hobby LinkedIn, you would hopefully pass that level of screening. Every situation will be different and even the same provider might be inconsistent, but it's a bargaining chip you wouldn't otherwise have.

Third, it's a personal cost-benefit analysis, mostly in terms of the time and effort involved, that everyone needs to evaluate for themselves. It's not the Holy Grail of verification, but it could help someone see a provider who would otherwise be out of reach. Just another potential tool in the mongering toolbox, not necessarily suitable for every situation, but nice to know it's there.

As I said in my initial post, I'm not personally going down this path but I thought it was an interesting idea and wanted to share the discussion from the other forum because it contained useful details from a monger who has used it successfully. It also occurs to me that, once set up, such a profile would probably require very little maintenance. Also, once someone figured out the learning curve to do it once, repeating the process would probably be a piece of cake.

Been recently been wanting to take another chance with a NOVA KAMP, especially after the recent reviews of Lucy / Best Chantilly.

I've been frequenting Greenbelt AMPs because I overall felt like they had a higher quality of providers (I'm big on a shapely body), not to mention the 0. 7 house fee compared to the traditional 0. 8 house fee for KAMP that offer TS. Not just that but with NOVA AMPs I've had a lack of memorable experiences, whereas Greenbelt has had me leaving with a smile on my face a high percentage of the time. But the 1 hr+ round trip in addition to the usual 1 hour of 1-on-1 time with the provider makes it hard to step away from home without a legitimate "2+ hour time commitment" excuse.

Was wondering what ya'lls opinions were of Best Chantilly for those that have tried both Best and Greenbelt AMPs. My next KAMP visit may be my last for a while so want to make it worth it before my hibernation period.

Willing to trade info about star Greenbelt AMPs and dud NOVA AMPs that I've experienced.

I agree with you Johnson. Even I have only visited GB once, I can tell from this limited experience that GB providers have sharper body. I visited VIP a while ago when the star provider Apple was there. Although the massage is near non-exist, the 20's year-old body win for miles. In comparison, one can always expect to be greeted with a 40-50 year-old provider in AMP in VA.

I think you missed the drift of a bogus LinkedIn profile. There would be no connection with anything real. Your name, work place history, education, etc. Yes and it would connect to the name you maybe used on your burner phone and your burner email account. Think of it like creating your spy I'd tatally annominous. All info with no connection to a real you.

Just be very creative. Yes will take some time.

Is it worth it? Up to you and what you like to do and what you want.

That's an interesting idea. However, would a fake LinkedIn persona hold up under the scrutiny? In addition, what if one's spouse / SO or employer discovers it? I'm not sure it would be worth the cost.
