This weekend decided to run into Lily Therapy off of Backlick. Other places I could have gone to, but Lily was open and I hadn't seen reviews as of late.

Not sure if the reference below (regular poster trying to put session value context) was to me. I would tend to agree with those recommending Tara, for this reason—she seems very consistent in what she does, and unfortunately that's hard to find in this biz. I'm not talking the YMMV aspects: I get that a girl may not have that extra "spark" with all clients, but they should put in the same effort, not short the client on time, and it should be a goal that the client be satisfied (within the provider's boundaries). Personally, I'm not sure I can find anyone in the massage+ ranks locally that will be better value me than Zina, the Thai lady who left the area around Memorial Day. (Easy to find her forum reviews). That generally works for me. And I tend to get more for my money by just being nice and finding something to sincerely compliment them on.

But yeah, there will always be 10-15% of these gals who have GPS or a consistently bad attitude. And then there are about 4% who are just ill suited for the job and probably won't be around long. Finally, there are the 1% who are straight-up rip offs.

Back to the point: when you think about it, Tara, KK, Nalee, all the 1st wave Thais, have been giving a 1 hour massage plus ending for 120 for well over 10 years. So I don't feel a price bump is price gauging in their case. But I wish it was maybe just a 20 dollar increase instead of forty. Nonetheless, I highly recommend Tara.

Confirmed my speculation. Apparently the girls are being cautious as someone got sick there and basically now want to be alone in the house on each day. Not sure how safe that is as they are seeing many different mongers a day. Schedule should be opening back up next week.

I recently visited Jane, formerly of Bus Spa. Or Bus-Spa. I believe that she used to have a studio. I saw her in her apartment in the Westover area of Arlington. She is listed on MassageFinder.com. She has been reviewed here at least a couple of times.

I contacted her by phone from the MassageFinder ad and scheduled for later that day. No problem. Her rate is $100. I went to her garden apartment complex, texted her that I had arrived, and she gave me the apartment number. Her picture on MassageFinder is accurate. She is a small but strongly built Chinese woman in her 30's. Looks fine, but not hot. She was dressed in a sports bra and yoga pants. She led me to a room in her apartment that had a massage table, desk, and boxes of other things. I believe someone described her apartment as "cluttered", which is accurate. She asked if I wanted a shower, and I accepted. I took my clothes off and made a point of walking naked in order to make it clear to her that I was receptive to attention to all areas.

Her bathroom is functional but not really very clean. I wore a mask the whole time (except the shower! She did not.
