Posts: 625I never haggle over the price. I learn that quickly with escorts it will only lead to bad services. It better to agree on her price, but set your conditions or terms. Sometimes you just have to walk away. Unless it's a redhead. They are my Kryptonite. I just have a hard time saying no to them.

Posts: 319It's the journey and not the destination. While many (or all) would classify the women on SA as escorts, many of the women don't want to "feel" like one. I'm not trying to start the are "they escorts or not" war. I really don't care one way or the other. My point is you need to treat the women on SA differently than you would an escort. The women on SA think they are different. They've been sold a lifestyle by the SA marketing. Play the marketing they've bought (if you can). If you can't, hit one of the many escort sites. You'll save a shitload of time and probably money as well.

Posts: 319I'm surprised SA hasn't offered some massive discounts. I have to believe their revenue is way down. I didn't renew in late Feb. I don't plan to renew any time soon even though I tested positive for the antibodies and I'm probably safe. The type of woman I want to meet, however, doesn't feel safe right now. I'll wait.

Or maybe it's a request.
Stop telling SBs that you can't afford their initial asking price. I understand that this is an easy negotiation tactic and it will often work, but negotiations are all about gaining the upper hand. By saying you can't afford something you're devaluing yourself and giving up some advantage. No matter what they ask for, they have already mentally decided the lowest offer they will accept no matter what you say.
I assume most of you have sold a car before. And this is exactly what you did. Set the price at $X, hoping for a sucker but knew full well that you'll sell for $why. Makes no difference to you if a lbuyer says, "I can only afford $Z," or if they say, "I just saw a car just like this and it was $Z. " You're NOT going to sell it because they are offering $Z not $why. But the buyer who said they just saw the same car for $Z has at the very least devalued your car and set up the next buyer with an advantage. SB's aren't cars, they can have more than one owner at time, so there is that, but the logic is the same.
It's better to say something that send the message, "I can afford that, but you're simply not worth it. " - Obviously you can't say it that bluntly. But I've done really well with some version of "Oh that's more than what I'm used to, but good luck no hard feelings. " They will usually ask what I am used to.
It's also worth noting that SBs will actually accept less money from men they believe to be very wealthy because they will chase the long term big score. So anything you can do to present yourself as wealthy without actually spending money directly on the SB goes a long way. (Yes I'm a dirt bag.).
I usually do this face to face, after a good amount of small talk. To flip car analogy, if you're selling a car you want to talk about anything but the car and just make the customer feel good. The test drive is all about creating an experience, they already know the tech specs about the car, that is why they came to test drive it. "Oh wow you look good in this car!
I don't think this applies to the high volume escorts, that's probably a whole different playbook.

Posts: 184It would've been. Renewed last week haven't found one within my set of search parameters willing to meet. I operate on the MD side and when I mention the governor is reopening things in response to their "scared about the virus" comments they stop responding or block me LOL.

Posts: 819With so many SBs looking for Online Only
Now I'm wondering if it would be worthwhile to let our memberships lapse for some time.
The meet success seems to have gone down drastically, too much effort and too many flakes.
