Agreed. First, police radios are probably not an uncommon sound at places that rent by the hour. Second, if this was a sting they wouldn't have jumped the gun sending in 'regular' officers with loud radios until you'd sent your room number. Very rare they will run a sting to an outcall like that. They like to be in control of the situation with their people in the rooms, etc. And have you come to them.
