I will just have to use some more generic pics, but I should have been doing that to begin with.

I know it sucks to be on the receiving end, but in the circumstances you mention I can see how that would be one way to get rid of scammers. No one wants to waste time connecting with someone in a foreign country that has no way to actually meet. I agree that it's heavy handed and if they are going to cancel a membership, they should give a partial prorated refund for whatever time is remaining. They should also have a way to deal with people that are traveling.
