Almost all in Korea have plastic surgery like a rite of passage. When you take the subway, everyone uses the subway, sometimes you'll see 2 or more young ladies riding that their faces are swollen and they're wearing bandages and / or a cloth surgical mask. Awhile back I was dating a Korean lady who her mom would yell at her and call her ugly. Her mom told her that she needed to wear makeup and get plastic surgery to get a man. In Seoul the Inchon-dong is where the ladies cake on make-up because IDK, Western men like it?

There is a Twilight Zone where a lady is wearing a mask because she is considered ugly and she just had surgery so as to make her look acceptable. In the end, the surgery failed and she looks pretty while everyone else looks the same. Even the Chinese girls go to Korea to have plastic surgery and afterward look like a Korean las.
