So I made a recent trip to one of my favorite spots. I don't partake often but when I do I drop a review. It had been several months since I had been here and much has changed. I saw Gina (same girl new name) and from the start I could spot the differences. I asked for the typical shower and they led me to the room. The table shower is gone and the shower is now a solo event.

We made it back to the room, I hopped on the table and the massage began. She started discussing how they had been very recently visited by many uncles and it is why it felt different. She stopped and asked me if I was comfortable with that and wanted to continue on. She made it very clear that they were still under a watchful eye. I needed a good massage so I continued on. This why I keep coming back. She did a fantastic job for the hour and I was on my way. Everything was face down and while playful she was quite reserved. She discussed the recent changes at the beginning and end of the massage.

Couple stories she told:

-They learned that visitors were being stopped and questioned on their way out. Said this was happening a few weeks before the visit.

-She knew of other spas that were visited and shutdown with up to 30 people and 20 of them were regular visitors of those spas. For years.

-The goals were laid out to them during the visit and it is a matter of time before every location in MA gets a visit. If they haven't been visited yet, they are collecting information and watching the location. If they aren't watching yet. They will be.

-There are a lot of resources behind this with many 3 letter agencies involved with local support.

I'm not trying to create fear. Just passing along what I heard for stories.

Sad to report Kang Tai in Franklin has closed its doors. I tried the phone a week ago and was informed they lost their lease. This was a solid 60/40 joint staffed by trained personnel. If anybody comes across the crew from this location in their travels, let me know where they turn up.

And to add my. 02% on handling an uncle encounter while leaving a spa.

-Don't say the word "Massage". Say you were getting your back worked on. Using the word "Massage" can bring other issues on the establishment.

-Any time the cops advise you what to do, try to slip in questions asking if that is their legal advice or opinion. One slip of the tongue by a poorly trained cop can render your conversation completely inadmissible.

-You are a confused civilian who got caught up in something that is outside your understanding. You think it would be best to consult with an attorney before answering any more questions. At this point they either let you go or put the cuffs on.

I was looking for a massage in CT and decided to try one from my notes, though I don't know if I got it from this group or not, or when. Yun Yu is conveniently located not far from the gate, and is reasonably clean and tidy. My masseuse was a strong Chinese lady, not very young and not very old either. For one hour, she gave me a very good therapeutic massage; clearly she is experienced in that. On the flip, she missed one area of that could have used some work. . 7+. 2.

There was one there some time back named May who was fairly attractive, probably 40's, and had nice full Bs/Cs. She's very distinguishable as she has a mole on her cheek I believe. Did you see any other providers while there?

I'm 64, a biker, a bit of a hellion. . . I know how to behave in front of the law. I was just mouthing off with that bit. I should take my own advice. . . . the less said the better!!

FYI, I DID find youtube videos out there helpful. Easy to find, ones that point out how to act if you are a pedestrian, and how to act if you are behind the wheel. As pointed out before, there are some state differences. So be aware of that as you are watching.

All that said, I am feeling better that there are lawsuits cropping up in FL from those who were just there for massage and were videotaped in states of undress. Hopefully they will get a BIG payday, and any future judge will think twice before okaying video surveillance of this kind.

There seems to be a lot of fear in this thread about getting caught. Also several comments about people not being lawyers or cops. First, cops don't know the laws, and they're pretty dumb. However, they will and are allowed to lie to you in order to make you say something. Second, most lawyers know nothing about this area of the law. It's up to everyone here to know the laws where you're dreaming and know pertinent case law.

In most states, it's not illegal for the patron to do something sexual with a masseuse, however it is illegal for the masseuse to do something. They're the ones who are licensed. It is normally illegal to pay for such services. The burden of proof is on the state. Here are some things I do to protect myself.

- Read the prostitution laws in the states where you're dreaming. You may also need to read city statutes.

- Never discuss money.

- Never give money to the provider in close proximity to the sexual act.

- Always leave the tip in sight. I usually just let them grab it rather than ever give it to them.

- Always speak vaguely.

- Let the provider know what you want through touch.

- Never get comfortable at a place.

- Never get comfortable with a person.

- Never go in if there are cops around.

- Always circle the place looking for suspicious vehicles.

- Always use the bathroom first to check back rooms.

- Always sweep your room. Check behind mirrors, shine light into them to make sure they aren't one way, check vents, check clocks, check anything sitting out. Using your phone light can make this take just a few minutes.

- Never talk to police. Ever! Just pretend they don't exist. If you can't, then ask if you're being detained. Start filming immediately.

- Most of all, have fun and relax. If you don't say anything about sexual acts and the masseuse gets so turned on by you that she wants to have some fun, then you're not guilty of any crimes, but she is.

Was recently at 32 South. Went to the room I usually go to. After the massage I looked up and the air conditioning vent was at a little angle (normally flush to wall). Only had a second to look if anything was up there, but on quick inspection I didn't see a camera or lens. Once again, didn't get a great look. Given the climate, am I being overly paranoid or is it a valid worry? Just wanted to give heads up too. Something felt off.

Visited my newly-acquired go-to a couple of days ago. She has a cool personality and was laughing her ass off telling me stories how concerned many visitors are -- inspecting the room and asking her about the cameras. But you might be right, as Joseph Heller wrote "just because you are paranoid doesn't mean they aren't after you".
