I am married and have it in my profile. Aside from the risk of getting yourself into a "Fatal Attraction" or blackmail scenario, you also have to think about who your profile is going to attract. I can mostly only play in the daytime, and that is hard to explain if you aren't married. Lots of girls on SA want to go on regular dates. If you are married and can go out that in the evening, great, maybe you can conceal your status from them. But if you can't and you try to act like you aren't married, you are just going to waste a lot of time.

There are some girls, although a minority, on SA that actually prefer married men because they know you will keep the arrangement limited and not turn into a "real boyfriend" on them. Putting married in your profile helps you connect with those women.
