In my opinion, it is an illusion that girls in hobby is clean from everything. There must be something. I had a regular in another city who doesn't do any illegal drug but that's a rare exception (she was a shopaholic, a different type of addiction). I made more than a few posts mentioning Angel's hobby back then but they fell on deaf ears. Even had a few sr. 's want to argue that point. She has had bad issues for 2 years, but it got really bad last summer. I saw her walking in poor shape with obvious marks last summer and posted it in spfld. Most mongers choose to believe whatever fits their desire. I think rationalization is the correct term.

I'm sad for Angel she is a nice person dealt a real crappy hand. She didn't help herself and it has spiraled out of control for her at such a young age.

I simply wasn't going to subject myself to a situation like that. Been there. Done that. No stomach left for that. I didn't miss the hobby because of that. But I had no idea about this with her years ago. I asked her if she was also in the other hobby back then and she asked me, "didn't you Know?" Was she functioning so well that she was able to hide it so well? I truly had no idea because I saw no visual cues. And I think it was at least two years ago since last seeing her. Sad to see. But the team must know. And so are there any spinners left who also don't partake in extracurriculars? Must I really drive to Cincinnati? YMMV team. Back to the cocoon.
