My guess is he wanted to see the therapist before paying the house fee. If you pay first and then they send in Grandma, you are not going to get your money back. I suppose you could just ask to see the MT first also.

Thumbs up for you. Its difficult to find a professional massage and expanded menu. Also good to know she did not push you on the tip.
