I got robbed by this girl. I realize I was being stupid, but it was a crazy few days, and I got careless. Anyway, she's very hot (slender little thing with pink hair), and she came to the hotel I was at. She comes in and asks me to grab her breasts, which I was happy to do. Anyway, I hop in the shower (again, I realize how stupid I was being) and when I shut off the water, I see a pink flash by the bathroom door and then hear the room door slam. I don't know if she's a professional scammer, or just saw that I had too much cash, but I'd say keep away.

Got out of work early last week and fell asleep on the way home. Dreamed I was in Her-done with time and cash, so reached out to one of the asian APT crew - http://nova.backpage.com/FemaleEscor...rndon/24826076 - to see what was what. The call got an addy via text, followed by two more "are you on your way?" messages. Location is a middle of the road apartment complex and safer than some places I've dreamed about in the past. A message from the parking lot gets the precise location. Two bedroom apt, sparsely furnished. Girl who answered was not the girl from the ad, but very close and very pretty. Fee sorted (at the high end) and I hit the men's room. Stripped and laid down on the bed (mattress on the floor) as she disrobed. The dream was going very well, 5'1" 100 lbs, long hair, trimmed (not bald), slightly saggy D's, maybe late 20's. The rushing and the price point is one of the reasons that I tend to stay away from Chinese girls. I have had some good experiences. But, $1. 6 is too much to gamble, since it is hit or miss. Some time ago, I was having a really good hour session, but I started getting "you OK?" about 40 minutes into the session. The session was going well, up until the "you OK?" started.

There are about a dozen other techniques. Usually, you can find out enough about a provider in 15 minutes to determine whether to take the plunge. Then, she may not answer! D'oh! Lather rinse and repeat until you've vetted enough potential providers to make sure you have a plan a through d before you leave the house. Chances are 2:5 will flake. The other 3 may not be the top of your list but at least they answer the phone and will show up when you schedule the appointment. The whole thing is a crapshoot.

One thing I want to make crystal clear: I respect mongers who do their research, those who toftt, and those who share when someone who is worthy asks. Bunker fits all of these qualities as many do. I don't respect those who have one or few posts and all they ask is for help, or just create an account to complain about one provider. Equally, I have little interest in someone who has never TOFTT. Not recommending anyone go into a situation blind. Do your research and diligence, but after you feel safe, go and get something to report. And and and don't leave us out here without details about what you've found. This stuff is not rocket science, but it is! A hard dick and soft brain are two of the deadliest possessions we can leave the house with!

When you travel, research the destination hobbying climate before you reach out to seniors on the other end. Make sure you offer advice about DMV as they give you advice about their city. Hopefully they save you time and money, so do the same for them.

Providers in the DMV tend to charge higher prices because that's what our local market conditions will bear. But, when you consider that some of those same providers return home (or travel) to other parts of the country where they charge significantly less, it becomes apparent that the price changes independently of the quality.

All a prudent monger can do is to be diligent with homework and focus on finding providers who give good value for $. The problem with being flush with cash is that the ability to afford more expensive providers offers what appears to be a shortcut to finding quality because it's easy and seductive (although mistaken) to assume that any provider charging $350+ must be GFE.

But my main point in posting is to push back a little about the hobby being "fickle. " IMHO, it's really not. Rather it's the same today as it has always been and will probably always continue to be. Prices are driven by supply and demand and are not directly correlated with the level of service / quality received.

And that's the beauty of this forum and resources like the oThER site. Providers are entitled to use all their marketing skills to get mongers to pay more $$$ but those same mongers have the ability and the tools and intel needed to cut through the hype and find the real gems.

There's no substitute for putting in the time to read the boards (Nova, DC, Maryland), look through ads, do research, and make some calls.

I'll reiterate and emphasize Bunker's adice: There's NO substitute for doing your homework in this hobby.

Lazy mongers will often lurk and try to mooch off of what others post, but they'll always be feeding on the scraps. Some will outright ask for handouts and freebies from those successful mongers who take the time and put in the hard work of doing researching, visiting the providers, and (of course) spending their hard-earned dollars. I have a lot of contempt for these sorts, whose behavior and posts will eventually reveal them for whom they are. (However, don't confuse bottom feeders with those who are new to the game or who don't have a ton of resources to pursue the hobby.).

Participation, to the extent that you're able, is imperative in the USASG. Whether your experience is good, bad, fugly, or indifferent, do your best to post a review.

Getting back to Bunker's point, though: There is already a ton of intel available in the past posts, still valid even after a few years or more. And, the techniques seldom go out-of-date. As you become more experienced, you'll develop your own tools and methods, like Bunker already has. And, BTW, there are some methods that Bunker will not (and should not) reveal, since doing so would diminish his ability to find gems. If anyone wants to consistently find gems, the best way to do so is to refine your own methods. But, more than anything else, homework and research are the keys. After that, the other points Bunker mentioned are all valid and useful.

I like to consider myself a connoisseur of finding gems and a good value as I'm not picky when it comes to providers. I usually pick girls that look UTR and because of that I have had good times.

What I mainly do is look through BP in gallery mode, which makes it easy to spot who looks good and who doesn't. I ignore the obvious TGTBT fake pix, then relentlessly image and number search the potential ones.

As you note, the real gems usually aren't the smoking hot girls, but the ones who look like ordinary girls who may have hit hard times (or are feeding a habit, as is unfortunately so common). The ones who are really hot know it, and usually think they're doing you a favor by letting you touch them. The ones who know they're only a 5 or 6 often try harder, and appreciate attention and being treated nicely.

The phone interview is a big part of my decision process too. If the first thing out of her mouth is "what time did you want your appointment," it's a good bet she's going to run things like a business. If she uses the word "baby" in every sentence, count on hearing "come for me, baby" two minutes after you start. Friendly, conversant, even chatty are good signs.

Ask a few questions without getting graphic, and see if she answers or keeps pushing for an appointment time. You have to rely on your own senses here of when someone seems friendly.

I've never seen Tarryn, so I can't speak to her performance or demeanor. I contacted her once and she wanted $. 5 for the half-hour, which was out of my budget so I passed. I have seen Beverly previously and enjoyed my time with her. Then again, there was no sign or smell of 420 on the evening I saw her.

Still, it's an eerie coincidence that we had two reports of mongers being stood up in such a short period of time, regardless of the circumstances.

Good point. One reason I haven't played as much as I used to is that I'm earning less than I was at my previous full-time job. My expenses haven't decreased except for the fact that I no longer have a car payment. Then again, the warranty has expired and I had to shell out over $1,200 for repairs a few months ago. That took my play money for a while.

A few years ago $ seemed to be the norm for a half-hour and $. 5 to $. 8 for an hour. Sometimes one could find specials for less. Now $. 2 to $. 5 seems to be the half-hour minimum, with the occasional special for $. I've seen an increasing number of ads wanting $. 8 or $$ for the half-hour. That's too much.

Bev is a 420-head. I have had a couple good sessions with her where we talked in detail and got to know each other. Then, a month later she asks me have we ever met and gives me that hard time. I think when she is smoking she has one memory and another when she's not. Study high, take the test high, and you get high scores.
