Deb was this at an agency? Why would this guy tell you and not report it. As of lately, I've been going through agencies because I do feel safer. One did tell me that it's possible I would get "declined" if things didn't add up which seems reasonable to me. I've never been declined because I don't have anything to hide. We all talk about playing safe yet we see anyone that catches our eye (I was guilty of this for a period of time myself) You Deb, as a provider are not screening? Sounds like quite a gamble so probably not a good idea to discourge the idea of screening. In fact, in reading some of your posts, you have had some pretty bizarre people contact you. Maybe that could have been avoided if you screened, or screened better. I'm really just perplexed as to why you would post something like this as a provider. You do things your way and you have to respect how other people run their business. I guess if someone doesn't make it clear that you won't get a call back if there was an issue you should just ask what all the details of their policy are before giving your info.

When I see or hear something like this, I would advise caution. If "only one in seven" is making the cut, how does anyone verify that even that one is allowed entrance. I smell a potential scam. When I see a provider in Las Vegas, the normal process is to verify is a connection with another provider, agency etc. Why would they need specific personal information that probably cannot / will not be verified?

I can understand a provider wanting to verify a potential client but if it's me, she takes me as I am, no personal information at all. If that's not ok with her, oh well, there are plenty of others that will be glad to take my money for services.

For someone that says he has nothing to worry about, you are incredibly worried.

I use an app called Burner. 10 $ a month on the app store.

If you need to hide it I recommend burying it in other app lists.

Best part is if you get calls you don't desire you can burn your number and get a new one instantly for another 10. Pay for it using iTunes care. There is a version for android but you will need to research that.
