I had seen her in the same location about a year ago and was ok, obviously nothing exciting as I waited so long to go back, but was in the area and needed a quick visit. Met up w / Kris down in Elkton a short time ago. Asked. 8 for a short visit, negotiated. 6 which was agreed. Raid at Elkton motel nets 2,400 baggies of heroin, two arrests

ELKTON A man remained behind bars on Thursday after investigators arrested him and confiscated more than 2,400 baggies of heroin with a street value of approximately $8,000 while raiding a room at an Elkton motel, police reported.

Members of the Street Crimes Unit of the Elkton Police Department took AAAA, 27, of Newark, Del. , into custody on Wednesday night during their court-approved search of Room 125 at the Deluxe Inn in the 600 block of East Pulaski Highway, according to Lt. Joseph Zurolo, an EPD spokesman.

EPD patrol officers assisted the SCU members during the raid, which marked the end of an investigation sparked by numerous tips, he noted.

"Investigators with the Elkton Police Department's Street Crimes Unit began an investigation into illegal sales of heroin taking place in Room 125 of the Deluxe Inn. Investigators learned through investigation and numerous complaints that heroin was being distributed from this location," Zurolo explained.

During the court-approved search of Room 125 on Wednesday night, investigators found and seized 2,421 baggies of heroin and $2,133 in cash, police reported.

In addition, officers arrested 29-year-old BBBB an Elkton-area resident who was in the motel room with AAAA when raiding officers arrived, police said.

Officers took BBBB into custody after learning that he was wanted by the Cecil County Sheriff's Office on an outstanding bench warrant, which was issued after he allegedly failed to appear for a court hearing, police added.

AAAA, who is scheduled for a Nov. 21 preliminary hearing, is charged with possession of heroin with intent to distribute and possession of heroin, according to Cecil County District Court records.

As of Thursday morning, AAAA remained in the Cecil County Detention Center in lieu of $25,000 bond, court records show.

BBBB was charged only with failure to appear, according to Zurolo, who described AAAA as the "primary suspect" in the heroin distribution investigation.
