Hi fellow Bowl-ers.

I enjoy the updates and will add my own. Nothing too exciting actually, but have been with my regular SB since the summer. She is more busy these days with work and family so I have spent my time looking for new action. My current SB has never been really been great in bed but has so many other good qualities that she is simply fun to be around. She is on a monthly allowance which I now regret but will keep up for a while longer. My advice to newbies...don't go the allowance route.

Similar to Lit2, as a geezer I am easily distracted...I actually have an interesting busy life, so seeking out new POT's is not always at the top of my list. That being said I started out the year with a flake who M&G and said "follow her to her place" and slipped away by another route after getting the sugar from me. Lesson learned. I still see her ad in various places so figure she must be a professional rip-off artist. Last week had a M&G with a 35 why / o who was really rough looking, so pass on that. Cost $.0. In my area the bowl is not so deep so looking in nearby areas. From my SA ad I have one POT to meet after the holiday. We have swapped a couple emails and phone calls so looking forward to that. Since some have has success with AM I will check that out.

As an older guy with some free time, no wife and a jingle in my pocket, this is a fun way of meeting people. The escort market had gotten so seedy and nasty in my area that I gave that up log ago.

I first got into SBs three years ago because the escort market in smaller cities and towns was so unattractive. I think the NY / Toronto / Miami / Vegas / LA scene is probably as hot as ever, but I haven't tried it recently. SBs are a lot more fun than small town hookers.

Following the tradition here. Let me post my experience.

On and off this year with mixed emotions.

1. Beautiful SB in NY: Had 3 FC meets, started with best one but then gradually we lost the interest in date 2, 3. 3rd date was at beautiful mountains, at very expensive hotel, but we did cutoff the date due to differences. Not in touch since then. Glad that chapter is over.

2. Thief SB: Met two beautiful but thief's. They went to FC but took the money and vanished. Learned the lessons...do not trust anyone. I take precautions such as hiding the money, not taking my valet, hiding keys. So on first FC date, they can either run with empty hand or wait until the end.

3. Met one 50 minutes drive, 20 year old Spaniard: Short but sweet. Talk, talk and listen. Not much action. 3 dates, and then told her not going to work...as it was one sided, dry. Well, 3 tries are enough, though SB was promising next will be better. Never mind.

4. Met another SB low 30, had pleasant time but found no connection.

5. Met SB 30's, had 3 dates, with FC. Found more business like. Even after 3 dates, and getting allowance, she always thought I won't give her allowance. She was fitness expert, had fun but I didn't like the money oriented mind. So good bye.

6. International SB; My best one. I was going for international trip, renewed my SA acct. Few only active, contacted all. 1 gave negative reply saying can't do 1 nighter. The second one. In 20's...told me she interested to meet. After several texts, we met on M&G for dinner at a very nice restaurant (5-star in that country), and then ended up FC. WOW, that was the best night of my 2013 or may be my life. Never expected...the night will turn so beautiful. I kept thinking of that night...till date. I will visit that SB (too far to meet)...but on my next trip. There was no expectations of money. Whatever I gave was ok. Very sweet, very nice and beautiful. My friends, I found my SB except...I can meet may be once a year...! Too bad...but will wait for my next one.

Saw that some of my brothers are posting summaries of this past year. Sounds like a good idea and thought I would do the same:

#1. Athletic SB I had just hooked up with at the tail end of 2012. As we were starting 2013, she said she needed to put a temporary halt to our arrangement because of some personal issues going on in her life. She touched base with me periodically through the first part of the year, but after doing some internet investigative work, I found that she was being at least partially dishonest about her personal issues. To this day, I still don't know the real reasons why she called things off. Either way, the temporary halt to our arrangement became permanent. Too bad for me, I liked her an awful lot.

#2. Amateur model SB. After one evening together, I just wasn't feeling any connection with her. I think she felt the same also as she didn't try to text me after that evening.

#3. Young MILF SB. Once she got to the FC, she became cold and unresponsive and seemed like she'd rather be anywhere else. Completely turned me off. Deflected her requests for another date, which pissed her off.

#4. Shy SB. Nice enough girl, but no connection whatsoever. Two FC dates and I had to move on as I was just not feeling it.

#5. UTR "SB". She would have been a keeper had she not clearly been a semi-pro or UTR. Saw her twice and couldn't bring myself to contact for a third one as I was really turned off by whatever (or whoever) else she was doing besides me. She didn't bother to contact me either, which was fine with me.

#6. Older woman. What a strange, strange M&G that turned out to be. Only saw her once after she responded to a CL ad that was set up for POTs, but she claimed (or feigned) ignorance of the bowl. She claimed or feigned that she was in a marriage devoid of affection and intimacy and she was looking for some of that on the side. We played around a bit and it seemed like this would be the start of something fun but I never heard back from her after that night. I have no clue what happened to her or what that night was really about.

#7. Sin City SB. Hooked up with this one while visiting Vegas. We had such a great connection, I thought we might be able to build a real relationship out of it. That notion lasted about 2 weeks after I left Vegas when she cut me loose to do who knows what.

#8. Scared POT. Met up with a POT from SA. She seemed cool with everything so I drove us to the FC. From the beginning of the drive to the FC, she started making excuses why she may not be able to go through with it but then just as quickly would dismiss them. She was obviously getting cold feet but when I would offer to put the brakes on things, she said she'd be fine. But when we got to the FC she kept wavering between hot and cold. She finally made an excuse that she had to go but offered a quickie to me, which I declined. When I tried to follow up with her the next day, she said she felt ashamed of herself and didn't know if she would ever be ready. I told her to keep me in mind if she should change her mind and that was the last I heard of her.

#9. Thief SB. Very attractive SB who gave me bad attitude on our 3rd date and so that ended things. Then she contacted me again a few weeks later wanting to patch things over. So we met in the FC a couple days later and after less than an hour there when she was out of my sight for just a minute, she reached into my overnight bag and took the envelope with part of her sugar, pocketed it, then made an excuse to go out to her car and bolted. Taught me a lesson about not trusting these girls, no matter how well you think you know their character.

#10. One night SB. This girl was great, but didn't respond to texts I sent looking to set up a date beyond the first. I treated her really well and she seemed to be really into the arrangement, so I don't know what happened there.

#11. Current SB. Truly submissive and loves to please. Risk taker. Spinner. Highly sexual. Bi and actively looking for another woman to join us. If she contacted me other than to set up dates, she would be the perfect SB, but she is really lacking in communication outside of convos about date plans.

I figured I might as well put up my end of the year recap since I feel like I need a break and won't jump back in for a week.

I joined the bowl end of September I think. Probably sent out hundreds of messages on sd4 m and much of it was learning as I was doing and by reading this board regularly.

In the three months I had:

1 M&G Flake. Just didn't show after confirming an hour before and no response to any follow-ups.

8 M&G.

Out of the 8 M&G: 2 stopped responding afterwards, 3 went straight to FC from the M&G, 1 went to FC on the second date, 2 I'm still in touch with and I think it's still 50/50.

The youngest was 18 (2), the oldest was prob mid 30 (1), the majority were early 20's (4). 2 single moms-I was expecting more.

Thanks to the advice on this board, I had a form ready to go and made adjustments / changes as I saw fit.

I offer $ and cover expenses. I know for sure one of the no-followup-responses was due to the amount, but I figure anything more then I might as well hit up HX.

I even went after the ones I wasn't too interested in to use it as a learning experience. < I think this was key to my learning.

FC recap.

#1: early 20's, $/ date, FC on M&G. Saw her regularly for about 2 months with about half overnights. I wasn't too physically attracted to her but for $ I spent all night and morning in all 3 holes. I cut her off recently because I wasn't having as much fun and I found some others to fill in for now.

#2: 18, $/ date, FC on 2nd date. She's young but from what I've gathered, she's on her way to UTR if not already there. First time was great cause I haven't had an 18 yo in a while, but that wore off and her inadequate skills got to me. After a weekly first month, I've cut back to once a month and she hasn't raised an issue. I'm keeping her as a booty call as long as she keeps answering the call.

#3: 18, $/ date, FC on M&G. She's definitely an UTR even if she doesn't know it. First M&G was .12 out of pocket for drinks before I had her twice in her garage when dropping her off. I was very disappointed when I first met her. She looked nothing like her picture and much bigger than what I like, but I went along with it thinking it'd be good practice. When the clothes came off I was even more disappointed, but it was dark and I soldiered on. By the end of that night my CPO was at .06 and I figured I was done with her. Since she's so close and only $ for an all I can fuck buffet, I've returned a few times. She's got a detached garage with a couch that's become our designated FC and so far she's gone along with anything I've been wanting, so I'm keeping her around as an irregular SB as long as the terms don't change.

#4: early 20's, $.25/ date, FC on M&G. This one's the best skilled out of all 4 so far. I've been seeing her weekly since the beginning of this month. The only issue has been coordinating our schedules. She'll be my regular until one of my 2 POTs hopefully come through.

All four as far as I know are not new to the bowl and knows how it works. The 2 that dropped off contact were entirely new to the bowl and so are the 2 POTs that I'm still in contact with. I pushed for FC right away with the 2 that dropped all contact. Since I'm in no rush, I'm taking it a little slower with the 2 newbies to see if the results change.

The first couple M&G, I felt like I should give whatever she wanted to get to the FC but now my mind is thinking with more sense. The 18 yo newbie that stopped returning all messages could have asked for $date and I might have thought real hard about it. Now I realize that although they have something I want (a co-playmate in the FC), I have something they need (If one turns me down, there's probably 3 or 4 new ones popping up on sd4 m each night.

I hope some of what I wrote can be of some use to someone.

15-Dec I see I have 8 hot UTR girls (all 19 to 22) on my spreadsheet that have all agreed to my $ offer that I never even followed up on, as they are all obvious pros, even if they are UTR girls. None of that this season, which seems to be a popular time for people to do that (or for me anyway). I never carry over a bad relationship from one year over to the next. And I,m not in any bad relationships with them or any random girls. I will have to maintain things to keep them all happy. Hopefully my paycheck allows for that and the occasional interview.

19-Dec My stalker X is in jail till at least until after the new year. Hopefully 3 months of that wises her up a little. A bad girl that was trying to go good when I met her. I guess the responsibility was too much. And she went back to her old ways. Had an awesome roommate date tonite.

20-Dec Stayed home. Another boring night in Hollywood. Chatted up a few POTS.

As I said earlier, I have had a lot of success this year in the $ range. All of these girls are attractive, the oldest was 29, and there were no "BBW"; but I wouldn't rate any of them a 10. For me an attractive 22-29 year old woman in my bed seems like a fantasy, she doesn't have to be flawless for me to count my blessings. I am fortunate to live in an urban area with a couple of colleges where there are lots of hot young women and not enough money to go around, so the pool is pretty deep. There are plenty of perfect 10 knockouts on SA here, and I have messaged my share of them but haven't gotten many nibbles from them at the $ price point, and really not many when I don't mention an amount in my opening email. I'll keep throwing my line at them; but if my wheelhouse remains the normally attractive 22-29 year old women I've been meeting, I stay in this budget, and continue to have success then I will remain very happy. You don't have to move forward, she will. Just remain in the picture with a few dollars here and there which sounds like what has been going on. It will happen she'll need a hundred and the clothes will come flying off. Don't link the money to performance but time it that way. The only problem I see is the part about the three kids and the low paying job. This is bound to get expensive. Watch for being played. I wouldn't plant both feet. Do not become emotionally involved and for God's sake don't get attached to the kids. Do not spend more than you could strike a match and burn. Watch for trends, changes in the interaction and for that it's a good idea to keep notes that you date. I think I said don't get emotionally involved and don't get attached to the kids.

I started reading this thread in February of this year and was immediately hooked. I began to explore a couple of the SD sites and sent out notes in earnest in April. I've learned a ton through the combined wisdom of the brothers on here and felt it was time to look back and recap. I didn't keep records of how many initial letters I sent out but I'm sure it ran into the hundreds. I estimate I went on about 25 M&G's since May. Of those 25,11 have wound up with POF; another five were willing but after I met them in person I elected not to move forward. Of the 10 or so that I met with that I didn't succeed in bedding, it was a mixed bag. Over half of them decided not to go forward for reasons other than sugar amount. In some cases I would say that they got cold feet, and decided that they just weren't ready to take the plunge. This seemed to be the case with several girls that I would say were absolutely new to the idea of a sugar relationship. In other cases it was due to either a lack of attraction to me or shortcomings in my closing game; as I've seen them subsequently active on SA. The rest boiled down to dollars. I decided early on that I would try and stick to HG's program of $ per visit; and have been generally successful. My first couple of girls were one and done; one by my choice and one by hers (we had not discussed sugar, she refused to tell me what she was thinking, so I gave her $ and when I contacted her again she said she really needed $ I had one girl for a couple of months at $.5 a visit, and one at $$ per week, and my current regular is 500 per month. Of the 11, I am still seeing two. Of the nine that aren't around anymore, only one broke off with me. I haven't had any real drama from any of the girls, and most have been to my house. All in all it has been a great year.

The $ a visit allowance isn't always a success. In the last couple of weeks I have had M&G's with two girls set up who had agreed to $, only to have them flake on me. I think both of them were more UTR types supplementing the budget for the holidays who may have gotten a better offer.

That night I thought long and hard about upping the ante, even if it meant cutting my current regular loose, because I REALLY wanted this girl. Eventually, blood returned to my brain and I began to think of the anomalies. On our very first scheduled M&G, she flaked without a call or a text. I had overlooked it when she apologized the next day, but it called into question her reliability. We had the financial discussion at her apartment, which was very nice and nicely furnished. I had taken that as a good sign, but now began to wonder how she afforded it, based on the back story and what I knew of her job. Finally there was the matter of the allowance. I had said "per week" and she kept coming back with "per month", and still hadn't given me an idea of what she wanted. Basically I was about to start bidding against myself, throwing numbers out there until she heard one she liked, and she was expecting a month's worth up front. She sent me another nice text that evening, saying she was looking forward to the next day. I responded that I was thinking things through and would be in touch. The next morning, with a clear head, I told her that I would not be able to meet her needs and wished her well. She fired back a couple of snarky comments, that I politely deflected, then she ended our conversation pleasantly. She was the prototype of what I am looking for if everything she said had turned out to be true, but I think I made the right choice. I am sure I will continue second-guessing myself for a while.

You did the right thing. I pay my regulars by the week (or even one by the visit). I used to pay some in the past by the month. Not anymore unless its just a couple hundred on account.
