Let me clear one thing up. When you apply for a credit line, there is a system that will sometimes ask you those same questions to confirm your ID. The 3 credit agencies have that info, because you gave it to them! I've had to do this quiz about 7 times in my life. What car did you drive in year X? What street did you love on in year why? I was surprised. Other times an agent on the phone asked me, such as when I applied for bank loans. To make it quick, let me say these facts:

1) 100% of this info is from your credit report. It's your credit report. Go get your credit report if you don't believe me.

2) When you apply for a car loan, you fill out a form telling the bank what car you are getting a loan for how much. If approved, the date of this loan is sent to the 3 credit agencies.

3) When you apply to lease an apartment, you fill out a form telling your landlord where you used to live for the past X years. Your landlord then pulls your credit report and submits your info. Don't want to do a credit check? No stranger would ever rent to you.

4) Even with a 7 year limit, old credit reports have this data going further back and any account you touched in any way gets refreshed (I used to have 15 year old items on my credit report).

5) Nobody remembers doing all this, but you did. Just submitting for a college loan or a job application I've had to list years of where I lived.
6) You yourself, right now, can get your full credit report. Unless you are a bum, you will see 20-50 things you didn't realize they had on you. This is not some super secret thing. Everyone who has ever had a credit card, rented an apartment, or had a credit history of any kind has this info. They agreed to share it, but people just forget they agreed. You can't avoid it unless you're a young child or a bum.

7) Sometimes the quiz is done by a person over the phone. Again, I've done this exact quiz about 7 times in my life. Certain types of loan and credit will tend to trigger this quiz, others won't.

8) It turns out the 3 credit agencies know way more about you than the government. The government is fucking lazy. They start with your credit report then add to what they have with tech companies. Getting the data was never the problem, the primary job of the NSA is to sift through that data. They are most concerned about terrorists, spies, state secrets. That's why they are always begging to hire certain smart people. It's not to grab info, it's to find a needle in a trash heap.

I'm not talking about anything else, just wanted to point this out. There are not enough people like us in this world. We have found the fountain of youth and cannot share that secret with just anyone. So no point in talking other things that will divide us.

Note that in the Boston 10 case, the feds sent their evidence to MA and VA. Prostitution has never been a federal crime, the feds only investigate wire fraud and inter-state trafficking. The Massachusetts DA used that to bring a case against a tiny fraction of customers. The VA DA publicly said they would not pursue at all. A DA's job is always to pick and choose cases, they often prosecute half or less of cases put before them. That's normal. Enforcement is very state-by-state. In New York, prosecution has dropped off a cliff, below 1% as many arrests now:

Same thing as California, they decriminalized loitering because innocent women were getting harassed for wearing revealing clothing, especially certain races. Prosecution is the lowest ever in most states. There are real crimes to solve. I know a corg where the police showed up and gave a warning, they just want the neighbors to be happy. This fact was even reported in the news when someone OD'd at that location and police had to investigate again "Police had previously been to this location". They arrested the two corg guys, then let them go after seeing the death was not suspicious. They borrowed that house from the corg guys as a favor to run drug and sex stings for a week, then left. The corg guys set up shop 10 minutes away and are still active to this very day.

Other corgs were not lucky, they were dumb enough to set up next to rich white people so there the police did get involved. But the goal was to get them out of that neighborhood, they let every girl go without question handing them a pamphlet if they "needed help or support". They were treated as sexy victims. 95% of the time though it is the landlord evicting them, they never want to involve the police (they'll threaten it as leverage though). No landlord wants that rep. Our data was NEVER safe! An associate who worked at No Such Agency stated that the three biggest intelligence agencies in America are Google, Facebook, and Amazon. Further, with the Fusion Centers around the country sucking up all kinds of information about us it's crazy. An example is of a traveler who lost their wallet and had to fly home. They go through the invasive TSA pat down, then are escorted to a waiting room where a TSO contacts the Fusion Center. That TSO provides information to the agent on the line and hands the phone to the traveler. The agent then asks questions like.

1. What color car did you have in 199 X?

2. What street did you live on in 200 X?

3. And other information normally not available on the internet.

The agent tells the traveler to hand the phone back to the TSO, who then tells the TSO, "They're good to go. ".

It's not who's elected to office, it's really who's put in power and what do they do with it.
