I was hoping for 13-3 at beginning of year. No 19-0.

MM, you are right about "Good Loss & wake up call". Give credit to Baltimore for a good game & a good game plan. Certainly coming off a bye week helps the Ravens a little.

Not sure if its the first real football team. I would consider Pitt with Roethlisberger, as well as Buffalo (6-2) as "real football teams" notwithstanding what the local talking heads / pundits keep repeating!

The fumble by Edelman was a killer, but perhaps that first penalty / mistake at the end of Baltimore's first drive where the Ravens were originally forced to kick a field goal, but because of the Pats penalty, Jackson scored, set the tone for the evening. Pats seemed out of sync from the get go.

Were the Pats already into their bye week before the game started??

I just hope that getting Wynn back on the O-line, and Harry ads something to the receiving corp, so the Pats can improve their offense. I am not worried about the defense. 14-2 or 13-3 still look like possibilities.

It's always a hard fought game with the Ravens & I expect it to be the same tonight, & yeah I expect us to win & the Ravens to whine about it. If we can keep Lamar Jackson contained (break his leg) then our D should be alright, if not it could be a long day.

With our D providing turnovers, giving us a short field & scoring we should be good.

Ball control on our offense would help a lot & that's what we've been trying to do by mixing it up with the run, added receivers, hope to see Tom have a break out day with the receivers finally.

If our D has a week spot it maybe the against the run, Nick Chubb had 131 yds against us & that's what you get when you commit to shutting down Clevelands receivers, I'll take 150 yards on the ground & zero TDs while shutting down the receiving core any day.

Anyone remember the regular-season game in 2007 when Brady threw the winning touchdown to Jabar Gaffney which kept their perfect winning season intact?. Ravens players went into a meltdown, sideline coaches calling TO when they didn't need to and, tons of holding calls on the Ravens. That game was intense!. Anyone expecting the same tonight or, will the Pats D stifle all the hype?.
The O-line will get much better if Isaiah Wynn can make it back off IR, but I still believe that it was James Devlin that was the key to our run game, including of course a healthy O-line.

Agree 100%. I really hope that Josh does something good with his life whether it's on or off the field although something tells me that he's one of those folks condemned to be fallen "almost". I really hope he proves me wrong. I suspect many in Patriots nation are rooting for this flawed class act.

I'm not convinced he's going to be that on this team this year (or even needs to be with Edelman, Gordon, Dorsett, and hopefully Harry), but he has the potential to contribute and has depth if nothing else.

Another club could offer insane amount of money, and he wouldn't go play for that team. Brady is too fastidious to start over with new team.
Yea but<ellipsis there is always San Fran where Brady would get a chance to bring SB back to his hometown and have his jersey raised in 49 ers uniform alongside Montana and Young but <ellipsis I think he had a chance at it 3 years ago and passed although I wouldn't be surprised if Brady is second guessing that decision now. Although I suspect that since then that train has left the station unless! 49 ers falter, or Garoppolo, who is a pretty fragile QB IMHO, gets injured again. If that's the case even the reverse trade is no longer impossible.

I agree with you LBJ about money is not being important but if Brady would want to get a chance to become his hometown team's hero, he'd agree to veteran's minimum if need be. If that happens see Edelman requesting the trade instantly, maybe even together with Dorsett to follow Brady to San Fran and McDaniels becoming Pat's coach. Also see Antonio Brown offering to play for free as long as it's back with Brady.

Can't wIt to see what Harry can do!
