Visited Club Business on Tuesday night, the first night of their grand opening. Was pretty crowded, a number of girls working. Food was decent, beef, pork and fish in addition to potato salad, greens and kim chee.
A number of girls from other bars, d'amour, butterfly, napa valley, etc. Lyna (asia) is back from her vacation and a couple of other viet girls also working. J girl from napa valley also working. Some nice looking k girls also. Had a number of older ones too, none worth mentioning.
They added a u-shaped bar by the aquarium so you can sit there and scope out the bar.
Parking is still hard to come by but the mama said that you can also park on the side by the korean bar (was it lu lu ra ra?).
I dunno, mama probably changed the name back to business with the hope of drumming up more business but I'm not sure that will help. Give it a few weeks to see if the bar will survive or be leased out in a few months.
IMO, unless you just want to look, grand openings are the WORST time for go to a KB or VB because all the girls have high expectations and high prices and high maka maka atitudes. I'm going to wait until two weeks when things settle down and the 'just for the grand opening' ROBs leave.
Speaking of CP, anyone get any play in the private rooms? The ones at the entrance are too exposed but there are a couple in the back corner that have couches you can't see from the door window. Was offered 'fun' by a leggy k-girl (sorry, forgot her name- sounded like Mya or Myra) two weeks ago, but I'm still holding by the boycott so I offered takeout instead and she looked at me like I was crazy and walked away.

Kind of slow but not dead, and somewhat busier than the Makaloa strip. Only a handful of hostesses and I saw a couple of cute ones, but nothing really eye-catching. The bartendress was a cutie but I couldn't get past her loud mouth. I recognized a couple of faces from Butterfly but they were from the lower end.
On the way out I could see right into the rooms from the hallway. One good thing about the D 'Amour rooms is that the lower part of the glass is frosted for privacy.

I've noticed that Pearl City and the Kalihi bars all have those video gaming machines. I have heard girls spending $7,000 in one or two days trying to hit the jackpots that are only $1,000 to 1,500. Wondering why LE, LC, FTC don't bust the owners? the two different owners are making over $10,000 a day easy!
Was going to just stay home tonight but no.
Hit New Casino for a warm up beer (at least that was the plan) and met Rose. Chinese. Bought her a few but she was pushing it a bit fast for my wallet so I decided I better move on. Checked out New Business just for the heck of it. Was decently busy but I stayed at the bar.

Wound up in Kalihi. Very dead most places being as it was around 1am. Stopped for a final one at Pisces and wound up buying Tammy a few. Nice girl, will perhaps return at an earlier time unless otherwise advised.

Also heard there are girls and customer that have them at home and invite people over to pay them some have only one others have two or three. They split the profits 50/50 just like the machine owners do with the bar Mama's. Thats why its so slow at the bars, too many people losing maoney on the machines no money for the girls drinks! I thought it was illegal to transport and to own a device like this, also they can manipulate the pay outs for jackpot to no jackpots, that why everyone loses.

I don't think it makes that much of a difference as Patty has a bunch of new girls. Once Sasha's 6 month lease is over, what will she do then or where will she work? Of the three bars in that complex, I think Chanel was paying the most rent because of some difficulties in lease re-negotiations. Of course, those costs are passed on to Sasha and she will need to keep the place pumping to cover the rent.

I too am short, ugly, and have no real career to speak of. I have gone through many KBG's, and many years of spending cash. I have always gaged my experience with these girls as how far can my $20 go. The objective of these girls are to get as many drinks as possible from you and if they think that your a pretty stand up guy to where they trust you, well, don't trust them because that means you let your guard down and now its sugar daddy status. The thing that you got to keep in mind is that your paying for their attention. So my suggestion is to just get drunk and get as much mileage as you can with that $20 bucks and don't even think about love in the bars.
So keep that hard earned cash and make these thieves suffer with this boycott!
Met a j-lady a while ago named Kiki, late 30's at least and probably well into her 40's, but slim and expertly made-up. About 5'7" with heels, skinny with bleached side-comb hair and very large eyes; you can't miss her.
Allows amorous touching and is a cool chic just to talk to; A=9. Drinks slow (in fact she carefully asked what I wanted her to drink) and pays lots of attention, not like a lot of k-girls I see who use the customer as a backrest and have the saltiest expression on their face. Oh, it's just a definite impression I got on that particular visit. Bars are up and down so I'm sure other visits would vary, but at the time I saw little reason to make it a point to return soon. I knew Alyssa was not rotating between customers and would not return, so I moved on, no problem.
In all fairness, Sasha is not familiar with me and as I posted some time ago, the ms in Camelot once made it a point to come up to me and declare that all her girls have LC and green cards.

Went to the grand opening of Ceopatra on Keeaumoku st. Was real busy but I lucked out and found a seat at the bar.
One thing I noticed, I don't think I saw a girl under 30 working there. I recognized almost all of the girls from other bars, a few came from kalihi with the mama but also saw some girls from d'amour, new casino, sheridan st t time, business and many from the old tomorrow. Former Chinese stripper that was at new casino working there. There were lots of girls working but all old ladies IMHO. Maybe one or two or three not bad looking over 30 girls but most were over the hill. The bartender was one of the better looking ones, she came over from cleo in kalihi so if you remember her there she is still the same. Unfortunately her service was sub par, she got my drink but didn't even ask if I wanted house pupus. When 2 older guys sat next to me and she asked them if they wanted pupus I asked her if she could get me some. She brought out the pupus for the 2 guys but took another 10 minutes before I got mine. Guess I didn't look the type to serve.
Food was okay, hawaiian food, lau lau, lomi salmon, chicken long rice, pork and cabbage and condiments.
One of the mamas bought me a drink but I didn't stay long, maybe 40 minutes.
IMHO, give it a month and the place will be like a morgue. They really need to get rid of the old ladies and bring in younger girls. I usually like over 30 girls but the place really needs some young eye candies too.

I agree with you. One or two girls could AMP but there were way too many retirees, and none of the 30's were friendly. I might have seen the same bartendress as you and she was the only friendly one. Ivy is back and going downhill; still seems to have her T & A though.
One thing I noticed was that usually a bar tab is tallied as they go, then they do the figuring and arrive at the total. This one was done in reverse and already had the total (4-figs) but no tallies and the girl (an older one) seemed to be making up a list of which girls had how many 20 or 200 drinks until it matched the total. Just FYI for those who like to run tabs.

Went last week and was disappointed with the ladies(if you can call them that) there. No sign of Kyong,maybe she retired;but did see Sunny. Bought her couple of drinks and got BJ/HJ in the booths. Sorry, but I can't agree with you on this. Any organization with over 2000 members is going to have a few bad apples now and then. Two bad sergeants does not mean the entire department is "messed up." That would be like saying this site is messed up because we had Showboatt and his 2,547 aliases having a conversation with himself. Wait, that IS pretty messed up! :D
In any case, they falsified reports by claiming to have been at the checkpoints when they weren't, so that they could be subpoenaed as witnesses in court and collect overtime pay. Definitely wrong, but not as bad as falsifying evidence against someone who was pulled over. I know a lot of these guys and most of them are good people doing a very difficult job. Some are just a-holes, but let's not tarnish the entire department because of a couple of idiots who were trying to scam the system for a little extra money. They'll likely lose their jobs and pensions over this.

Owner there acts more like a worker; doesn't have what it takes to be the commander of this ship, IMO.
The owner dictates the personality of their shop. This one going be another dud. Might work in another part of town but not in present location. Biz is not easy.

In fact, many people who were guilty of DUI will walk because of the stupidity of these two sergeants, because if any part of a sworn statement is found to be false, the entire statement must be thrown out. But they are only two out of 2000 officers. That's hardly representative of the entire department. Is HPD perfect? Hell no! But it's a helluva lot better than most give it credit for.
As for my knowledge of the inner workings of the department, I've never mentioned it before because I didn't want to freak out our more paranoid brother mongers, but I used to work for HPD years ago. I still know quite a few of the officers and some of the civilian employees. Some are just aquaintances, but others are friends I've known for years. Some of my former academy instructors are now majors, and even assistant chiefs. My legal instructor is now a Federal judge. One of my classmates is a captain now, and others are sergeants and lieutenants. Even though I've been out of law enforcement for years, I still like to keep up with what's going on in the profession, and in HPD in particular. I'd say I have an excellent understanding of the inner workings of the department, good and bad, because I've seen it from the inside, up close and personal. You could argue that being an ex-cop makes me a little bit biased, but naive? Hardly!

Some of my former academy instructors are now majors, and even assistant chiefs. My legal instructor is now a Federal judge. One of my classmates is a captain now, and others are sergeants and lieutenants. Even though I've been out of law enforcement for years, I still like to keep up with what's going on in the profession, and in HPD in particular. I'd say I have an excellent understanding of the inner workings of the department, good and bad, because I've seen it from the inside, up close and personal. Whoa there dude...reread my post. Nowhere did I defend these two idiots. In fact, I called them idiots and pointed out that they'll probably lose their jobs and pensions over this, and rightly so! What they did amounts to theft, and they'll be dealt with accordingly. I was defending the department as a whole from being unduly tarnished by the actions of two people who had no business carrying badges. They got caught obtaining extra overtime pay by falsifying reports. That's wrong, it's illegal, it shouldn't and won't be tolerated. But it hardly rises to the level of violating anyone's civil rights. There's no evidence that anyone was falsely detained, arrested, or prosecuted as a result of the actions of these two clowns. In fact, many people who were guilty of DUI will walk because of the stupidity of these two sergeants, because if any part of a sworn statement is found to be false, the entire statement must be thrown out. But they are only two out of 2000 officers. That's hardly representative of the entire department. Is HPD perfect? Hell no! But it's a helluva lot better than most give it credit for.
