Thanks for the response. I was thinking like you described. I was second guessing that thought with her comment. That maybe I was missing some protocol. I'd give the room cost as the tip if they had a safe, clean local room to use.

So far I've had four dates, each time they complained about tip. If I wanted to hear complaints, I'd stay home with the girlfriend!

If you want to avoid complaints, then SWs may not be your desired hobby. Many tend to be a bitchy, especially those itching to get high after they extract a fee from you. I usually tip generously if the service is outstanding. However, for an average date, an average fee is sufficient.
