Yes, we were all newbies once upon a time. But a good newbie tries to at least fit in or will learn from the lack of support they get.

I won't share info with a newbie in a PM. If they want, they can RTFF. I'll give them advice on how to earn their wings so people won't blow them off all the time. But I won't give a 0 or supper low poster info.

I think MW Jrp was rather nice in how he told the guy to join or butt out. If anyone cares to see how a 'real pro' would have handled it. Go to the DC, Baltimore or Northern Virginia boards and look back in the archived posts for "Trashman" (RIP my friend).

He had little or no use for non supporting newbies and can (and would) tell them so in graphic detail. But he also would help anyone who contributed or showed signs of becoming a good contributor.

Started a 3/5/X loop and saw a TGTBT near the Jazz club on 3. Looped a couple of times watching her as she moved a block up and down 3 and crossed the street a couple of times. Not seeing any LEO I decided to TOFTT and hoped that minime wasn't getting me into trouble. Did the pick and checks OK. Her name was Brenda, mid 30s dressed in a skirt with hose and (1") heels - she looked like a legal secretary or something. Well as we entered the negotiation phase, she was fixed on at least .5 for minimum service but was really looking for $.5. I tried to reason with her but she had her mind set so I dropped her near the pick. In hind sight I wonder if I should have sprung for it.

Proceeded down the boulevard and finally picked up Nicki. She had a typical hard luck story and was offering a full menu for .2 and hoped for a tip. I opted for a CBJ which she executed adequately. She was looking for "regulars", which did not interest me. This made little sense and she had no minutes on her cell. So, I dropped her and called it a night.

My work seldom requires more exertion than lifting a laptop computer. Occasionally, I get a chance to work with a field crew and I always take it. Yesterday was one of those days - stress, strain, stretch, sweat, and get dirty. It really gets my blood flowing, and my testosterone too. After work and a shower I rolled the normal 3/5/X pattern. On the second pass, I met Jeanie near the convenience store by the tracks on 5. She is in her late 20s, thin, nice Bs, and a little road worn but not burnt out (yet). I did the pick, checks, and parked for a bbbjcim for .2. Jeanie's skills were OK, not great. A couple of times she chomped down on Mr. Happy and squeezed the 'boys' way to hard. But she got the job done perfectly well.

After dropping Jeanie near the pick, I headed home, tired and satisfied and looking forward to a really good nights sleep.

I gave her mine if she ever needs quick cash again, but I'm not holding my breath for a call. She did let me take a pic. I probably shouldn't put it on here but she doesn't seem to be the type to troll this site.
