Hello, I am a Senior Member from New England and I love a good rub with a few additional extras that can be had without a hassle. I will be staying in Duluth and would appreciate any suggestions you might have.

When I was there in November of last year and went to the place in the strip mall on Pleasant Hill Rd. north of I-85, and a VERY long walk from my hotel! It was the one with the beauty parlor in the front. I had a very pretty girl, gave her all of the signals, but no luck, and as usual was told "next time". I was leaving the next day, so there was no next time!

I've have had some decent experiences there before at a good rate$ which is why I would go back...and our choices are dwindling.

I also had a few good sessions at Therapeutic Massage with Yumi, BBBJ and more, before she started to neglect cleaning her pussy. After two rancid sessions with her, I quit seeing her. Few weeks ago, Went to the Foot Massage place in the strip mall a few doors down from Midori (on Buf Hwy). When I went in the girl took me straight to a small room with a massage table. I thought that was odd for a foot massage place, but I figured that was a good sign vis-a-vis extras. Got a girl named April. Farily cute & thin with nice Bs and a tight little ass. She gave a pretty good massage, and got close & personal around my lower back, thighs and glutes. I was in an obvious good mood on the flip. She spent the rest of the time rubbing my chest, abdomen and upper quads, all the while I was rubbing her ass and legs. I was clearly ready for some extras, when she said "all finish". I asked her to finish me "here" and she said no. Her boss could hear just outside the room. She told me she would if I came back "next time". I gave her a dissapointed look and.4 (ie, no tip).

At this point I should mention that I'm very likely a dumb ass. Because a few days later I went back. I called first and asked for April. The lady on the phone said yes, she was working and asked if I had an appointment. I said no, but was it OK if I came in about 20 min. She said fine, April was available. Got there in 15 min and saw April. Same routine, she took me to a massage room and started the massage. About 5 min in, another customer came in and April walked out. Even though there were other girls working. I heard her lead the other john to another massage room and get started. About 5 min went by and April comes in and told me she had another appointment! WTF! I asked her "what do you mean? " "I called just 30 min ago! ". She said "sorry" and that another girl could give me massage. Well, the other girl was pretty homely, so I walked out. On the way out she said to come back in an hour, and I lied "sure". I won't be back.

Has anyone had better service here?

Your experience is similar to what's happening at most of the Chinese foot massage joints nowadays. The girls are getting greedier and uncaring. About a year ago, all the Chinese foot joints on Buford Hwy were pretty good as far as manners and getting what one paid for and I was never pressured for a tip but I would tip based on good service. Fast forward a year later and it seems I get pressured for a tip at all of them now.

I had a similar experience recently at another Chinese place where I had an hour massage and the girl just walked out after 45 minutes and an ugly woman came in to finish. I protested but they all feigned the no English routine. I quit going to the place you went to a long time ago because no extras are given, they always want a damn tip and none of the girls there are close to attractive. Until enough mongers get tired of it, they'll keep it up. There's a Chinese dude that owns the place by Midori. I don't think your a dumbass as everyone gets taken advantage of sooner or later, but if your scenario had happened to me there, I would have told him about it and made a serious scene if he refused to do anything about it. I've made casual conversation with the guy before and he seems OK but not sure how he'd react to an unsatisfied customer.

Yeah, it's rude as fuck and seems to be most common at Chinese foot massage joints although you'll occasionally run across it at Korean AMPs too. I am pretty tired of it and have been pressured into tipping a few times w/ several faces staring at me, but I've come to the point where I won't tolerate it anymore. If the girl does a superb job even without extras, it might warrant a tip. If she does extras, definitely a tip. If the massage is just mediocre, no fuckin' tip. And if she's too pushy about it in any way, no fuckin' tip either.

I told one girl at a Chinese foot massage place on Medlock Bridge Rd point blank in front of her friends and a curious American female customer, "No extras, no tip!" Then walked out with the American woman giving me a cold stare.

You can always mumble something incoherently like, "Just remembered I have to get my tires rotated," and make a quick exit. It leaves them confused due to their limited English comprehension. Or, pull out an empty pocket liner and shrug your shoulders.

I've never heard the slightest whisper of a good experience from that place. I've never stuck my head in there and never will.

I agree with Niteluvr here. It's pretty damn rude, and they know EXACTLY what they're doing. If you get hoodwinked into a situation, that's one thing. But if you have control over it, don't hesitate to refuse tipping, and in some way let them know why. I always tip for good service, and of course extras. But I don't think twice about walking without tipping if the service sucks, or the girl is a *****.

We're all in this together, and it'll make it easier on the next guy (and ourselves the next time).

As I was leaving the room, she pointed to the sign on the wall that reads "Tips are appreciated for good service", or something like that. And I said ok. I gave her $20 and asked for change. She said, "You leave $10 tip! " in a stern and forceful manner. I replied, "I'll leave what I want to leave, just give me my change! " Well, this was going back and forth for a bit until finally she gave me $15 dollars. I was going to leave more, but again, the massage sucked, and I was fed up with her telling me what to leave. I just wanted to get out of there. It's obvious that she doesn't understand the meaning of the word "tip".

I will go back, but if she comes my way, I'm going to turn around and make a run for the door!
