I second this and other advice. I pretty much bring only my keys and money that's needed. That is it. I typically hobby only when it's convenient. I rarely and I mean rarely go out of my way. I WOULD say this: I have never carried a physical burner. Just use a text app or software phone that you can uninstall / reinstall if you have a nosy wife. Yeah Google / etc can track you blah blah blah it's almost certainly not going to come to that unless you are involved in a violent crime or something (Definitely never got a room for anyone nor given them money to do so (always a scam!).
