Fellas, all of us, myself included have complained here and there about our options throughout Volusia County when it comes to the talent at the local AMP shops. Well, the flip side is how popular the AMPs are just about all over Gotham City. I was down in Orlando on business over the past few days and I have to tell ya, the demand there (not just the assumed tourist areas) is so great, its no wonder why it is there is a shop on almost every corner. As many of you know, I prefer certain times of day, and certain locations over others, but DANG, because I was down there for a few days, it was easy to check out the options during the late afternoons, after dinner, and LATE, AFTER 11 pm and it's no wonder why a lot of the O-town brothers say to hit them first thing in the morning! I walked into locations around I-drive, as far west as Winter Garden, downtown, even Altamonte and Casselberry on my way back home and I have to tell ya's, there isn't a time when there isn't at least one vehicle in the parking lot! On the shops that came with 5-star reviews, ALL were busy when I did my recon work. Several times, when I walked in to get a feel for the place and the talent, I was either holding the door open for a guy as he was exiting, or a guy was holding the door open for me as I was exiting. Even past midnight, when at least 70% of the shops were closed and I had entered to consider taking the plunge; as we discussed menu selections, the damn front door bell went off and another customer entered. Well, I wasn't feeling it for that gal, so I had her place the guy in a neighboring room and I politely said I would come back another time. There is so much more to add to all of this, including which shops I would DEFINITELY return to sometime in the future, but business awaits me this hot, muggy and bright sun-shiny day, so if any of you want further intel on the O-town AMP scene, hit me up!
