They're calling them gun violence barricades, LOL. Years ago I was deployed as part of an exchange program with the British Army to Northern Ireland. I didn't do frontline security patrols nor checkpoints but did intelligence work. In the 70's the British Army's initial solution was to build a ring of steel around city center Belfast to stop shootings and bombings. There were checkpoints through which residents had to pass to get into downtown, they'd be checked for weapons, etc. Then they erected barriers between Unionist (Prostestant) and Repblican (Catholic) neighborhoods to prevent them from harassing each other. Through these barriers were doors and gates which were locked every evening at 5 pm. While they did slow sectarian violence to a degree, it also created a bigger pain in the ass for residents to get around. A lot of these barriers still exist today.

Pretty extreme comparison between Aurora Avenue and Northern Ireland, I get it, but this situation sort of flashes me back in an odd way. That was one of the most unique and interesting experiences I'd ever had.

That being said, and to keep this post on topic of the forum, I walked through on foot very late last night / morning on my way back from meeting friends in the U District and there were a maybe a couple handful of attractive SWs out there. There were some congregating at 97th through which I walked, they seem to like congregating on that corner. Funny, most turn their backs to me as I pass by on foot. A few caught my eye, a thin brunette WSW spinner in red lingerie with a thong so skimpy I thought she wasn't wearing bottoms when viewing her from the back, and a tall, thin BSW with an afro in purple tight booty shorts at 97th. The latter looked really young, though.

Hey Hoballer, that's hilarious. How come a lot of mongers tend to be ex-military. What is it with us being prostitute-fuckers? What branch were you in, MOS, enlisted? I was an enlisted USMC infantryman. We should do some tactical recons of the blade this summer.

Also BigDumper, can you elaborate on the details of that Jack in the Box shooting? How did you know it was "brutal" - where did you find additional information? I tried googling the incident but could only get surface level info of it.

Police are historians with guns. They don't respond to much in progress crime. They show up after the fact and pull out a notepad. Regarding the cameras they do not send out cops because a guy picked up a girl. Your chances of getting arrested for picking up a SW are slim to none. The girl would have to snitch on you. Picking up a SW is not a crime. Uber drivers do it every night to drop girls off and / or pick them up to take them somewhere. That's not illegal. The cops need something more than just observing you picking a girl up.

I live in a neighborhood near Aurora Avenue, residents here are very pissed-off about what's been going on around here with shootings and the lack of police action to enforce the loitering laws along AA. In the past week residents blocked-off side streets at 97th, 98th and 102nd avenues in an effort to prevent johns from rolling through the area to pick-up SWs. The city attempted to respond to this however residents rebuffed them and refused to cooperate. There's talk of forming neighborhood patrols to break-up johns attempting to talk with or pick-up SWs in the 100 blocks south through the 90's blocks. I'm talking residents who will get in your face for pulling-over and talking with an SW or approaching your vehicle if you're stopped and negotiating. People here have had enough and they're getting aggressive about it. I'm only posting this as an FYI to be on the alert about this.

There was another shooting this morning around 3 am ish. Looked to be about 12 shots fired. That's about how many of those little yellow markers they had on the ground next to the casings. Was between 93rd and 94th on aurora.

As far as the report below. That is totally normal. AA is not a daytime stroll. Mileage will vary in the afternoon. Could be a few out but could very well be almost zero.

This. These residents don't understand the brutality of some of the demons that are out there on AA at night. They will find themself getting shot if they get out of line. Really fast. They really need to rethink this. It's almost as if they have never watched all the videos of the shoot outs? Some of the most brutal shootings aren't on video but people know about. Like the one at the Jack In the Box a couple years ago by another P. That one was really brutal if you know the details.

Thanks for the heads up. I think it's foolish. They aren't prepared for the aggression they will get in return from the degenerates / gang members / wanna P's / P's that they will encounter. There are a lot of John's out there drunk / high and they are behind the wheel of a car. I wouldn't risk my life to accomplish nothing.

I was out there around 4 am this morning when the shooting took place at the lava lounge. I was rolling by the lounge and there was 40-50 people in the parking lot and there was a bunch of yelling and arguing. Cars were being blocked tried to getting out purposefully by other vehicles and I heard a guy yelling "let them go". I knew there was going to be a shooting. I got down to just past the IHOP when I heard the gun shots going off. Two different shooters it sounded like and many dozens of rounds fired. There are lots and lots of wanna P's and P's out there right now oversweating the girls.

I think it's a combination of the world cup next month and warmer weather that is causing all the shootings and action on the ave. It wasn't this electric last summer. Feels different. The lava lounge will probably get a chronic nuisance letter and be forced to shut down as there have been frequent shootings at that place just like the other hookah lounges that have had to close in the past few years around Seattle for the same reason. I also think this activity will just be used by the city to further crack down on aurora. Unfortunately, that most likely means the John's getting the brunt of it as the city is incapable of seeing these girls as anything other then perfect little angels who are all victims.

I really wasn't going to get involved in this and I'm probably going to regret it but I'll offer this -.

I think for a lot of us, definitely for me at least, we don't recall or forget to get their names. I'm actually pretty horrible about that. Some guys don't like listing services nor price because nobody can guarantee that's what you'll get. That being said, OP listed in his post that this particular SW in question is pretty much open to everything. I often don't talk rate in my posts, in the past I've had guys PM me pissed-off because an SW tried to charge them something different. I know what I got, I don't know what you'll get and it's not my problem after I'm done with her. Hell some guys probably even get a better rate than I got. Some prefer not to collect phone numbers as they prefer one-and-done. I do or try to, even then sometimes I forget to get it from her.

If you don't pick up SWs then why would it matter to you? I've seen posts like this recently in here, guys demanding to know when they aren't even out there.

Interesting night out, only did a quick cruise. Lot of nice gals out there. I parked on a street and watched a nice young white brunette in a white minidress approach everyone on the street. She got to me and said, "fuck that" and immediately bailed. I caught her on another block and she turned her back to me. It was then that I realized that I'd seen her out before, always hot in her miniskirts but I never ever actually see her get into anyone's car. She always ends-up down by the homeless housing project near 85th which is exactly where I last saw her on this cruise. She's pretty hot which is odd because most who come out of that building are destroyed. I went up 97th and several BSWs were standing. The hottest gal in the bunch, tall with red or burgundy wig in a dark minidress, approached and I immediately asked if she offered bare and she said, "no, sorry". On another corner nearby I encountered a nice short light-skinned BSW or LSW spinner in extremely short red skirt, she was very mellow and I asked for bare and she said, "well, I do, but that will cost a lot". Of course I inquired and she replied, "it will be thousands". I laughed out loud at that and told her, "you're not making thousands on that. Come on here". We ended-up at $200 with her saying "half-service" and I had to get her to explain what that meant. Essentially half the time or what she said would be 10 minutes. I said no way to to that and then she stood silent and for a bit and then said, "I'm tempted to say yes". Just then a vehicle was coming up from behind and she said, "it's a cop" and immediately bailed away. Sure enough, SPD were coming up behind me so I hit the gas and got on the main drag before they got up too close to me. I managed a number out of her before that happened so we'll see where that goes. Please, no PMs if I don't know who you are or if you don't share info on the board.

I was going to have another go-around but my engine caught on fire and I had to address that issue. Probably a good thing she didn't get in. So now I'm without my SW vehicle which sucks. The fluids which had been sprayed around that thing over the years are copious. It was a good room on wheels for dating SWs, I'm going to miss it.

Good for addressing your engine fire issue first. That was the right decision LOL.
