However, after reading reviews, a shower was part of the session which I think I would enjoy. Question is, in a 30-min session, would a shower be omitted give the shorter time?

There's really not that much difference in price. I always do 60, I'm older and can't be rushed. Shower is usually where the fun starts. Plus girls inspect for sores etc. If you're done in 30 minutes you'll know for next time. If you're done early most will do a massage or just lay there and talk till your 60 is up and then the after shower, which is basically a rinse to get all the gel / lube and stuff off so I can show up at the house without the evidence.
