Yes I'm aware of all this but the lack of affordable decent providers has led to have to resort to streetwalkers. It's fairly easy to get prescriptions for meds online (Wisp and other sites) and then pick them up at a local pharmacy. STD testing is also easy to schedule online then go to a local clinic. Figured I would share some notes. Let me know any thoughts.

Doxy PEP (Doxycycline Post-Exposure Prophylaxis) - Preventative measures for chlamydia, syphilis, and gonorrhea to a lesser extent. What it is: doxycycline (antibiotic) taken within 24 hours after sex - 200 mg only one time (usually 2 x 100 mg pills). Can be taken up to 72 hours later but within 24 is better. Doxycycline can be taken multiple days if needed. Drink a lot of water and avoid laying down for a bit, strong antibiotics can make your stomach not happy. Some users here said to take probiotics as well.

Doxycycline as treatment for: Chlamydia - 2 x 100 mg daily for 7 days. Syphilis - 2 x 100 mg daily for 14 days. Lymphogranuloma Venereum (LGV) - 2 x 100 mg daily for 21 days. Gonorrhea. Can be used in combination a 500 mg intramuscular shot of ceftriaxone but doxy is not sufficient alone.

PrEP (Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis) - Preventative measures for HIV in HIV negative people. Apretude is a shot once every 2 months, effective 7 days after first shot. Yeztugo (newer drug) is a shot once every 6 months, effective after 48 hours after 2 days of first shot+pills. Descovy and Truvada are taken as pills daily. Both Truvada and Descovy need 21 days to reach full effectiveness for vaginal sex. Truvada can be taken "on demand" for infrequent anal sex with other men ONLY.

Valaciclovir (500 mg 1 x daily) as preventative for herpes outbreaks. Not a preventative measure for catching herpes itself. Can be taken once a day to prevent outbreaks from showing up (if they appear frequently), and twice a day for active outbreaks (taken at first sign on symptoms tingling / itching / burning). Acyclovir is another antiviral that is in both pill and topical forms for outbreaks.

Alcohol wipes & hand sanitizer. Cleaning your hands after sounds like a good idea in general. Don't go touching your eyes / mouth / nose with bbfscip juices. I'd caution dunking your junk in alcohol, that's probably doing more damage than good. I always take a nice shower and use antiseptic mouthwash right after getting home.

One thing to consider is what type of material they ran these tests on. If they tested it on a table or other inorganic matter, I wouldn't trust the results. It needs to be on tested on the skin, and more precisely on areas of the genitals and mouth. The reason being is that if you're spending an hour banging an infected person, HPV / HSV is passed through the skin / membranes. Putting that in mind. Do you take truvada? I know its for HIV prevention, but I think it has some protection against HSV too. I'm on it, haven't caught anything yet, and plan to keep it that way. Doc prescribed me some valacyclovir now to treat the current symptoms and infection and currently taking. He suggests taking these regularly now to prevent future breakouts and reduce risk of transmission in the future.

If you looked at the article I sent, you'll notice that it only takes anywhere between a half a minute to a minute to greatly reduce the chance of infection. My suggestion is use a moist towelette after a minute or so of application.

Moist towelette is great. Same for baby wipes or flushable wipes. Hand sanitizer on your genitals though? Normal people are going to have a terrible reaction like this:
