Easter Sunday:

Practicing patience with some Willamette fishing Easter morning. Sellwood>Falls>Sellwood for a few hours with no chances to wet the net. Since the phone alerts from a couple of my fishing network was semi blowing up with catches, we probably should have headed to Columbia but since already committed to area. With the Willamette being much warmer than usual. I did switch lanes into warmer water tactics & ditch herring for a spinner tipped with some cured eggs from last season on & to my surprise (and my fishing buds irritation LOL) as we turned to ramp my rod buried & soon had a fat buck in the net. Saving some gas to call it early since we both had holiday plans, him with Easter dinner at in-laws & myself with Dania. A shame the fishing was somewhat slow, but the temperate conditions more than made up for it.

After getting boat stored & hanging with buddy & copilots for a minute this lovely afternoon. Copilot & I were heading home around 1:30+-. Was unwashed & thinking of a quick nap wasn't really thinking about a recon after...

Fishing buddy & I needed to do a boat shakedown run & despite reports threw some lines in the water for halfhearted fishing trip this am. Had a bit of time to kill. Drove down sandy and 82nd around 4 pm. Big accident on sandy about that time. Street all blocked off. On the east side. One pruned out cracked out older lady was getting into a smaller car. Another lady. Was getting into a red larger suv. Nothing else around. Drove up sandy to 82nd, did not see anything. It was even vacant to the 84 exhange and that is where I decided to hip the freeway and off to a personal project.

Was headed home late. Took a cruise off 84 on 82nd went up to Stark and looped back north on 82nd. Interestingly not a lot out at 11 pm. All quiet from the 84 to stark First girl going back north was at the bottom of the hill after passing over the freeway. , Nothing great. Quite large. Only one more mid sized girl near the Siskiyou street corner. Again nothing to look at. I did not see any LE around. Temps were ok. Not raining. I expected more to be out. Sometimes at the bottom of the hill on sandy at the7-11 You can find a girl or at least someone working, It was empty and quiet, Nothing else on sandy. So I hit the 205 and gone, Near the end of the month. So I expected more to be out. But they might know the benefit govt funds are coming and did not come out for extras.
