Which Asian Acupuncture place are you talking about? The one on Rosemead across from the In and Out? There's not even much next to them right? Or are you talking about a different acupuncture place? There's a few in Rosemead so not sure which one has thin walls.

I checked it out today as well. The door is blacked out and the Venetian blinds are closed, but I could see inside through the mail slot. The lobby looked empty, with two little lights on down the hallway. I had the impression from what I saw that it was a landlord action pulling the plug on them, because there were notices from LE or health or building depts like I've seen elsewhere, but if someone saw the police there, that's stronger evidence than any of my guessing.

If their walls are thin, their mistake was not opening up next to Chinese businesses on both sides. The Asian Acupuncture in Rosemead has such thin walls in one of their rooms that you can hear whenever the people next door are talking. It's so thin that you can probably just poke a tiny hole in the wall with a screwdriver and they'll be able to watch.

They'll probably just use a relative's name to reopen up somewhere else after they're released from prison and / or legal issues resolved. There was an owner with 4 locations that all got raided a little over a year ago. The charges were pretty serious, and I think she's still prison. At least 2 of their shops reopened under the same biz name within a few weeks. Not sure how they did it, I'm assuming they probably just transferred the ownership to a new person.

There's no store either the Indian restaurant complained or the dentist office next door. When I went on Thursday night 3 police cars drove in the Parking lot with one staring at the door for a good while like he was suspicious. The area is known for tweakers and drifters. Could've been a separate incident they were looking at.

Also that night. Indian worker popped his head into the Spa which was weird I believe they were closing up but still weird to pop in like that.

The place was low-key but signs it wasn't going to last no open sign very dark tinted windows, heavy foot traffic going into late in night.

Not a bad spot I've been there a few times. But comparing it to Star Spa isn't really fair. Star Spa is more of that "quality over quantity" type of place you know exactly what you're getting. The only time I end up at Angel is when Star Spa is packed with guys lining up to try out a new girl LOL.
