For keeping track of girls, here's a tip on encrypted drives:

Volume Encryption for Virtual Drive
Consider using Jetico Bestcrypt or any similar product to encrypt a volume. For example, you can create a 500 GB file which you mount by double clicking and entering the password. For those of you on MAC, you can do most of this natively. Run "Disk Utility". Go to "File--New Image--Blank Image". Specify the size of the disk image. Select 256 bit AES Encryption. Give it a name and hit "Save." Enter the password you want. You'll now have an encrypted, password protected disk image file (. Dmg) that you can double click to mount. Then you can store all your research, videos, etc on that disk. Right click and eject the disk when you're done and it's all secured from prying eyes.
