Depends on the provider. I have used my real number in the past with girls off P411 that were established and I really wanted to see. I guess you could get a second line on your phone plan and assign some bogus name to that line or get a burner. Some providers still use email, whatsapp, Signal or Snap so that is an option.

I use a burner app that has you select an available phone number that it will show up as. It's not very expensive but it does kind of suck in that you buy credits and it does the shit that you have to buy in increments that don't fit their prices. So you always have some credits left over that you can't use. But I have never had any issues with it, and I can change the number if I have too due to scammers spamming me.
