That's fair, those are all just observations I have made over the years and my personnel experiences with getting to know girls in the clubs around here. A mix is probably the best way of saying it although I will say I have know personally far more that do not use it strategically then who do however most of these girls are young and do not have the life experience to properly manage money. I can't say that I was all that different at a young age however kuddos to the girls who do manage their money properly.

I see some of what you're saying—especially about the industry changing—but I think it's easy to overgeneralize. There are definitely people who use it as a stepping stone or manage it really strategically. It's probably a mix rather than one dominant story.

The club scene will likely never go back to what it was sadly. Between Onlyfans and people living beyond their means there is no reason for the girls to try all that hard. It is very different times from the early 2000's or the early 2010's. Some girls are able to make a profession out of it (travel around dancing or have pay pigs) but once a girl hits mid 20's the clock is ticking on how long they can keep going (seems to be extended, a lot of reasons could be behind this). A fair amount of the girls who dance end up doing so because they have a baby (often times before they start but a lot end up having one while they are a dancer and thus stuck in the life style) and many become single mothers. The thing about it is that once you start dancing not a lot of ways to stop (the money girls make in the clubs can't be made elsewhere). The smart ones use the money they make to go to school or start a business. Most employers (except for extremely low skill jobs) are going to look at the gap in employment and say no thank you (if it is a significant gap) or see that you were a dancer and say no way especially if the hiring is done by a woman (women tend to be the biggest haters of other women). Another issue is that girls get the face tattoos and that is a red flag for many employers (it screams poor life decisions). While tattoos have become more widely accepted there is still prejudice against them (more widely accepted on men than women). Dancing is hard on the body not to mention the likely impact on their mental health. A lot of the girls who dance have mental issues before they even start and the issues only get worse over time (these girls are not going to get the help they likely need). Also it's sad but the inability of people to take responsibility for their own actions tends to be on full display at clubs (only way to move forward in life is to see were you failed and improve upon those failings, not high on the list for a lot of dancing girls especially when they aren't addressing their mental issues). One last thing is the drugs aspect which also tends to be a major player into why girls dance. Gen Z is heavy into the drug culture, not to mention dealers tend to give "samples" to dancing girls to get them hooked (have heard this over and over). I tend to have a lot of fun at the clubs but it's nothing like it used to be and I just don't see a point where it will ever go back to a shadow of its former self. You can have a lot of fun if you find the right girl but sorting through the mess is tiring and more often than not, not worth the investment or the trouble (although on occasion it can be). Feel free to disagree with the above or share any insights but this has been my experience and tends to be what I see / hear over and over again.

Posts: 1051The Akron small dance bars is where it's at. You can either drive there or go to the clubs in the Detroit area where it's pretty much a sure thing. I'm planning a trip there soon.

Posts: 23None of the big clubs in Dayton were ever really great in the 15 years I've lived here. It was always the small, shittier clubs that I had more fun at. I'll take a Sharkey's, Landing Strip, or New York New York any day over a Cheeks, but none of them were really great IMO.

I haven't been to any other areas in Ohio with clubs, so I don't know if it's just Ohio, or localized to Dayton, because it seems like every other club I've been to in a number of different states are just more fun all around. It's like the local strip club culture is just broken, and since there isn't a lot of choices there's no pressure to turn it around.

None of the clubs in the Dayton are like they used to be pre-COVID. The mileage, quality of the dancers, and the sheer number of gorgeous dancers is at an all time low.

Posts: 23Respectfully, I disagree, the dancers around Dayton seem to be very focused on either regulars, or the turn and burn. It's understandable, since I'm sure that's a good way to make that cash fast, but it's shortsighted. Can't cultivate a new regular if your asking for a dance before I've had my second sip of my drink.

I probably just need to make enough money to show up more often LOL.

Must be an off day. I've never had that vibe there.

Visited cheeks recently on a weekday. Got there not long after opening. Had 3 or 4 girls on the floor. Once you get past the older drunk regulars singing every song, the scenery was good. But not 1 girl came up to talk to us. It was weird. I'm not a bad looking guy. Got a few smiles, but that's it. Not sure if I caught an off day or what. It's been some time since I'd been to the pole palaces. But I remember a time when the girls walked up on you mid conversation wanting to dance for you. Might try again in a couple weeks.

Hello fellow mongers! Do any of you know of a membership only strip club in the Dayton / Greenville area? Apparently there is a very sexy young girl has joined. I'd appreciate the info.

Lust: Checked out Lust around 5 pm and no one at front desk, so went in and sat down at a table. Three dancers on the floor and they only did VIP at 150/15 min. Dance was horrible, so many rules by dancer. Never again to this place.
Cheeks: After that disappointment at Lust, went to Cheeks around 6 pm. Paid entry fee. Few dancers on the floor and are friendly. Had few regular dances. Better experience, would repeat again.

Lot of heavy post baby dancers last night. Few customers. One gal said Dances with her were $40. Was interested in brooke, but had to leave. Was a slender goth chick there there I would love to hit up next time.
