If you look at Tryst, many of them are big bucks and still require deposit. Some are reviewed on TER but many are not. I don't think its worth the risk. The safest bet is an established provider coming through from another town on tour; I haven't heard anything positive about these Charlottesville "locals" (home base of Cville) with deposits.
