I noticed a spa that I hadn't seen before where New Harmony used to be. Started with towel draping but lost that while back being massaged. On flip, she placed the towel back in place. Pretty standard massage with nothing extra offered. Massage was decent and she was pleasant. When I left, there were two other employees chatting. All were probably 50+ but I didn't get a great look at the other two.

I'm not sure if there's nothing to be found here or they're playing it close to the vest.

Stopped in last week, they were busy and told me it would be 30 minutes. I left and was unable to return.

Went back yesterday, they remembered that I had tried. Older lady. Very sweet. Very good massage. Nothing more. Close to teasing, but didn't go there. On the flip things "peeked" out and she laughed, but no more.

It was nice to get a very good massage. My spidey senses say, maybe playing very close to the vest. Who can blame them.

I will probably try again.

I noticed the phone # is the same as the previous to spas that were there. Only visited once back when it was Lucky SPa I believe. Was ok. Better than Hong Kong l1. May need to give it a try.

Not really expecting anyone to have the actual answer, but: How is Hong Kong still open after every other place was shut down? Seems very odd.

Well, now that BloNo is all but done with this category, are there any recommendations outside of town in a 60 mile radius?

Peoria area has a couple good options and Champaign / Urbana. If you want to venture further QC and Morris have options as well.

I've been driving to Champaign recently. Bliss Spa has been pretty good for me. They have a table shower and with a little back and forward you can get L3 for 1. 4.

I saw this too. I called the number and got an Asian woman who spoke almost no English. She managed to communicate that she would give me address, then hung up.

A few minutes later, I got a text from that number, all in some Asian language. I asked for it in English, and got a reply with three digits, some asian letters, a single english letter, then some asian letters.

I asked for it in English, but didn't get a reply back. I called back the next day, with almost the same conversation as the previous day on the phone, and the same series of text message, but I told them I needed the street name.

They sent it back, but this time it was three digits followed by a single letter then Normal, Il.

I thought what the heck. Typed the 3 digits plus the single letter and Normal IL and got a location in north Normal, and streetview showed a residential dwelling with that number and letter on it.

I figured it might be worth a shot, so I went over there and rang the bell. An Asian lady answered. She spoke basically no English, but waved me inside, then looked up and down the street from the door, then closed and locked it.

She made me wait on the table for about 15 minutes with some explanation I couldn't possibly understand, massaged me poorly for about 10 minutes, then gestured for a L1, I agreed. She finished in about 5 minutes, then said the single, most fluent, English word she apparently knew, "Done", and smiled at me. She asked for. 7 upfront and. 6 before the finish. That was for an hour. I was in my car afterward in about 35 minutes after I got out on my way in.

It wasn't even as good as Hong Kong. I won't be back.

You can pretty much eliminate any location in Bloomington / Normal from consideration for anything other than a legitimate massage. That town has dried up and all the establishments have moved on to other cities.

Right now your best alternatives are in Champaign.

It's the strip mall by Westgate and Interstate Dr to the west of Walmart. There is a tattoo shop in that strip mall too.

Stopped by about lunch yesterday and paper on door that said closed. No luck.
