Yes, the experienced girls usually can put on a condom better than me. A few will stretch it open and drop it on. The reason some girls and guys struggle with 001s is they are so thin, the rolled up portion is tiny and hard to grip. Now I'm used to it. Beginners might unroll an inch or two and slide that on first. It is extra important to get the right size, that will help with unrolling.

This size chart is very helpful. The regular Okamoto is the smallest width (as far as girth), so if you have ever considered a magnum condom you'll want to size up. The size chart will help others and probably help us back in the long run, so I'll attach it.

It's the Okamoto L (56 mm). You can also try Sagami regular (55 mm) or Sagami L (58 mm). The okamoto regulars are 53 mm. Note both L sizes are longer too. If you need bigger than L, I heard there are 003 XLs but don't know much about them. There are also American brands and other options. I've tried 002 and 003s that girls have had and they're great. In-between 001 and regular condoms. The only reason I use 001 is I'm old, a younger guy might nut too fast with them. Up to you.

Okamoto also offers a "rich lubricant" version (blue rather than red on label). There are pros and cons. They come perfectly lubricated on the outside which helps a lot for a less experienced scenario where the girl isn't wet enough or you want to "dive on in" asap. Perfectly even lubrication all over matters. Even with a girl who is perfectly wet naturally, you want to start slow so you get to that point. The downside of the rich lubricant is you have to be careful not to spread the lube on hands or elsewhere you don't want, and the girl shouldn't bj you with it or she'll lube her mouth. You can do without the rich lubricant version as long as the girl is wet or lubed right. Whereas once you decide to use it, you can't get rid of the extra lube.

It's going to depend on the guy, but since both Sagami sizes are bigger, even the Sagami regular fits me well. They are cheaper in bulk. The unique packaging has its pros and cons. You can't fit a Sagami into a wallet the way an Okamoto does (this is nice if you go City of Industry strip clubs). But, the packaging lets you know "which side is up" consistently. Even two Okamotos take up less space than a Sagami. It lets me keep a backup on hand.

I get them off ebay, and if the seller offers in person pickup locally (ex: some sellers in OC do), you can re-order through them directly without ebay for a small discount. This also avoids shipping time.

Girls have had 002 and 003s that I've tried and they are great. They're easier to unroll. Most US condoms are the equivalent of 004 to 007. They're not bad, I just use 001 because I'm old. The Japanese condoms are a different material, so when I say 001 or 003 I really mean Japanese condoms using that material. It is a much more expensive material, so you will never find them very cheap even in Japan. Sagami are at least cheaper in bulk, but they are also a bigger size than Okamoto. They have unique packaging. So pick the brand that matches your size, more than anything.

I personally don't take any meds when engaging in BB. Been exclusively seeing kgirls for past 2-3 years. No other providers nor any civvies / SO. I get testing regularly and got all negative tests. Over a year ago is the only time I recall feeling something off, so I took a break and got tested some weeks after to account for the incubation period. Tests came back negative. So it was most likely one of those bacterial infections that aren't too serious compared to gonorrhea or chlamydia.

So to answer your question, no. It's not necessary if you can stomach the risks. Otherwise you got to take precautions for peace of mind at the very least.

Part of the reason I don't want to take any meds is because I read a lot of them can be harsh on the liver. I drink a lot LOL. That's a whole other can of worms I got to sort out on my end but suffice to say that drinking while on meds can almost guarantee liver scarring. No thanks.

If this is the first time that you ever caught anything after 5 years of BB, and you did it at least once every week if not more, then that is 1 time in at least 260 BB sessions if not more where something went wrong, so that is well below a 1% chance of catching something. Mongering without BBFS probably has as close to a zero percent chance of catching anything as it gets.

It's unclear what you are comparing mongering to. A casual fling / hookup? Committed relationship with one partner?

I'm pretty confident in saying that mongering as whole, whether you engage in BBFS or not, will increase the likelihood of you catching something. More sexual encounters equals more chances to catch something. Having multiple partners IS an increased risk. It's not like there was no STI / STD incidences before BBFS blew up and became more common. I'm sure there are tons of cases where people caught something because of routine testing or they got confirmation after showing symptoms, got treated, and went about their day mongering without announcing it on a forum.
