Thankfully; I don't concern myself with all of the problems associated with chasing the dregs of society including SW's that found the internet and other addicts who could care less about anything other than their next fix. In 2026 my business attorney (in Ocala) charges $300 / hour (he's pretty pricey, but damn good).

I went to an out-of-network / specialist doctor just a month ago, where I was in exam room for 1 hr 15 min, a full 55 minutes with the doctor and a nurse, and about 15 min with another nurse. I was charged $275 (including tests), which is approx $220 / hour.

Just this past month, my dentist charged $155 for exam, xrays, and cleaning, which takes about an hour. Checking with them this morning, if you need a new crown (including exam and xrays) he chargers $240, and takes about an hour overall.

So, even today in 2026 with all the jaw-boning of inflation, professional services in Ocala provided by individuals with graduate degrees / professional degrees / med-school / law-school / etc. , charge between $150 to $300 / hour.
