I antagonized him until he hung up, then I called the number back and it really was Miami PD. I got transferred over to a detective and I let him know that scammers are spoofing their number.

All this to say, as long as you're not using your real number, you're not giving anyone your real name, not sending money from your personal venmo / cashapp / zelle, and you're not hosting outcalls where you live.
