WAUKESHA Police are investigating after receiving reports of sexual activities taking place at two Waukesha massage parlors, according to search warrants filed recently in Waukesha County Circuit Court.

No one has yet been charged in the case, amid investigations that go back to last August. According to search warrants returned to the circuit court Jan. 26, police looked into the activities at the 7 Days Spa at 2329 Silvernail Road and the Yuan Yuan Spa, 411 and. Grand Ave. , after the landlord of 7 Days Spa and neighbors of Yuan Yuan Spa reported illegal activity allegedly occurring there.

Police investigators surveilled the business in August, shortly after the landlord reported the matter to police, and saw a man enter a Lexus with Illinois license plates that listed to a Chicago man. From Aug. 9 to Sept. 8, that vehicle traveled to Waukesha 12 times, and from Oct. 12 to Dec. 6, the car stopped at 7 Days Spa 16 times, the warrant said. Authorities placed a tracker on it, as well. The owner of that car was seen dropping off or picking up Asian women from the spa, the warrant said. It added police learned that the driver would buy and sell gaming chips from Hard Rock Casino in Gary. Ind. , prior to or after driving to the spa in Waukesha, the warrant said.

Last October and November, police interviewed two men seen exiting Yuan Yuan Spa, neither of them city residents, who admitted coming to the spa to engage in sex acts with the employees, the warrant said.

This past Saturday, I stopped to visit Mia at Crystal in the Falls. I imagine with the kind of money they make at that level of spa, thousands of dollars a day that they have to do something with it, sometimes they stash it and the authorities know right where they hide it as they've done several busts. I sat outside in my car outside of a Bank of America waiting while a girl deposited $11,000. So, it's hard to say what they do with their money if they don't send it to China. I figured they all just shipped it back to China.

But I think the money laundering and trafficking are just popular talking points to get the media to justify their raids. I think it's just a matter of time in certain communities before the L3 places get shut down for prostitution. I also think they greed is the over lying factor.

When you walk into a spa as a new client, and the girl basically tells you you're going to get laid by grabbing your junk when you're walking in or in the first few minutes of the she's already teasing you, the authorities tend to target those places where the girls are not very careful. I imagine if they can't get the girl to perform illegal acts, they just hit them for massage license violations, it has the same effect. The licensing doesn't require taking them to court and using up those resources. When they get into the money laundering it's serious matter.

Same with trafficking. They can get the girls to admit to having to pay some "importer" tens of thousands of dollars to get them over the border that they have to pay it back. That much is true, but they all come here on their own accord. They know the risks, and if you do full service and pay that money back quicker. I've heard that Carol has to work one to two years just to pay that money back unless they are very cute, nice bodies and doing L3 on a regular basis it takes a long time to pay it off.

Ultimately, after a bust, the girls just disappear. Maybe they pay a fine for misdemeanor prostitution and it's on to another city. The owners have to give up their investment in the property which is always rented. Many times they just moved to another state and open it up another enterprise.

That's my take on it.
