I found it. It's actually in Prescott Valley. It looks like they have a table shower too. Was that offered to you when you were there?

It was not offered, I did not ask so it might be something to see. The communication was so bad it was hard to even say anything.

It is Between Truwood drive and Navajo Dr. Just north of the 69. You can search "Gold Massage Prescott" and it should pop right up. Let me know how your visit goes and see if it might be worth giving them a second chance.

As someone that comes up to Prescott occasionally from Phoenix, where is Gold Massage? I know about Asian Island and the places in Prescott Valley, but it would be nice to try a new place the next time I'm up there.

Had a dream that I went to Gold Massage a few days ago. Massage was. Okay. With plenty of good reviews on google I was expecting a good massage at least. The lady got rid of the towel near the start of the massage so I knew L1 at least. She paid a lot of attention to my butt with plenty of teasing on JR. After the flip I was hoping for more teasing, but she instantly went into negotiations. She was very aggressive. Language barrier made it difficult and we "agreed" but I don't think we actually knew what each other were saying. Like usual in a lot of these places. She jackhammered. If the massage was better I wouldn't have minded. I will not be going back.

Is Prescott / PV really as dead as this forum? Or are mongers just extremely tight lipped and keep everything close to the vest? Been here a few years from So. Cal. , have had a wonderful time down in the valley, but seems dead up here in the mountains. There was a FS place on Iron Springs I believe that was shut down a couple years ago? Seems like there has been a slight resurgence in new little spas opening in PV and Prescott proper. Are all these legit? With all the "retirement aged" gentlemen up here, hard to believe you can't get the itch scratched without driving down the 17.

Yeah, they're pretty much all legit up here. You might find a provider at one of them that wants to earn a little extra, but it's not guaranteed. Besides the ones listed on the post, there is a new one in PV that advertises on STG that has a table shower. Plus a couple of ads in the Sedona area I haven't tried. And when I've had anything up here, they typically charge more than Valley price. Depends on what matters more to you, convenience or selection. You can try your luck with some of them and hope you get someone that doesn't mind scratching your itch, but if you want to know for sure something is going to happen head to the Valley. I think they're too cautious up here to take the chance on getting busted. Besides the one on Iron Springs, the one on Montezuma got busted a year ago too.

Didn't get any feedback on my query so I TOFTT and visited East Asia Massage on the frontage road of Hwy 69 in PV. There is a "foot massage" place that shares the building with East Asia, so PV has at least 4 AMPs.

I drew Khandie or maybe she meant Candy, IDK. $85 for an hour. She tried to upsell a 90 minute session. Massage was decent, but I will refuse a back walk in the future. She used a LOT of oil. Maybe P Diddy had an AMP at his house and that is why he had so much oil.

After the hour she only finished my back and the back of my legs. There was no flip and she said no to an HE. I tipped her $15 for the rub and left.

Will not return.

I've only had one HE there. She said that the manager was gone that day, so she was willing to. Other than that, I've had a couple of times some assisted DIY. Your only guarantees up here are Asian Island for a pricey HE, and the reopened Perfect Spa, which I think is now named Happy Spa.

Haven't found any recent reports on any of the 3 AMPs just off Hwy 69 in PV. One is Tara Thai Massage, one is East Asian Massage and the other is a new place 2 doors down from East Asian.

Rubmaps has 9 year old reports on Tara Thai and 2 year old reports on East Asian.

Any help you local mongers can provide is appreciated.

I drove Montezuma 4 x past the spa the last week. Shut down Wednesday.
