For seeking and its companion site, whatsyourprice, they can ask for selfie verification for old profiles if you change the login email address. I had a hush mail account I didn't want to pay for, and tried to switch to a proton mail free account.

I actually felt OK allowing the site to use my webcam to get my face. It prominently said everywhere the photo wasn't going onto the profile. I have several discreet photos, headless, etc. , on the profile to show some of myself discreetly.

I would not like to do this often though. So yes, preserve your old profiles. Don't screw up.

Yep, just found that out the hard way. Tried to create a new burner account and you can't get past the initial creating a profile phase when you first log in without giving them a selfie. So if they've kept my photo on file from yrs ago where I submitted a real photo and that photo is flagged in their system, then I'm fucked when it comes to creating a new profile. Unless someone knows a workaround.
