The average girl 15 years ago was slightly hotter and much cheaper, so it helped. I also got ridiculously lucky, in hindsight it is unbelievable. My 2nd kgirl was Bunny / Pink, so I met her when she was an S-Tier DDG HYA. I did not meet a better girl for 8 years.. I actually did not see her again for 12 years, because she immediately changed names. So even though she was still working, I didn't know. It was the worst kind of rebrand lol. But it was also kind of okay because I wanted to see a new girl every time, rather than repeat a girl I knew for sure was great. That's why I understand guys when they don't care about reviews and just blind toftt - many are genuinely happy. It's something I grew out of later on.

I tried using TER and it was actually worse back then. Maybe it was just the agencies I used, but 75% of posts were shills. Saying the girl offered anal (she clearly didn't) or describing a completely different person in obvious ways. Those were the days of lazy shilling before reviews turned super generic and vague.

About 20% of girls used realistic photos, including Bunny. Another 20% to 40% had some accuracy (photoshop or a similar-looking girl), the other 50% were useless. I realized that even looking at ad photos made me feel worse about my appointments. So I never ever looked at ad photos to decide on a girl ever again. I would deliberately look away from the ad photos when looking up the roster. I did that for 10 years. So when I say I don't use ad photos to decide girls, I'm serious. I don't care if a few girls are accurate, since most are not they're worthless. I won't even look at a single one, it just spoils my appointments when I expect something wrong.

With that explanation given, ad photos have never been accurate and neither have specs. Yes, I know a few girls do use decent ads and a few girls live up to their specs. But it's too few to even care. Only intel can tell you if a girl looks like her ad or the specs, but even then the ad photo doesn't tell you her level / tier. So I'd rather hear about that through intel.

This is also why I do photo models in some reviews. I don't imagine they are super close as-if the actual girl, but they are generally better than the ads and give the right idea.

I found out I can win 100% of the time if I followed a few rules. The first actually being simply knowing what I like that will make me 100% happy - it takes every guy time to discover his true preferences. I'm easy. Young and hot, plus genuinely willing to play. She can be shy, she can be new, I'll happily help her if she checks those three boxes. If possible, I'll even show her a good time because that makes me happier too. The same way when my dentist, massage therapist, or hair stylist works on me I'll make light convo. It's polite, it makes the appointment more pleasant.

BTW no matter how well you vibe with your dentist, therapist, or stylist don't give them a loan or date them OTC. It won't work out.

So to your point it's always been a problem for 15 years, so I wouldn't wait around for it to get better. We have no choice but to use intel. It's why I sometimes index reviews to speed it up a little, confirm intel, give tips. We'll have to figure it out.
