Yeah, my account was suspended years ago for some he said / she said bs. They took her side of the story without even asking my perspective, tried fighting / pleading my case to no avail. And then a few hours later I got prompted for selfie verification. And then as soon as I submitted the selfie, my account got suspended again. So yeah it looks like they keep selfies on file and they must've referenced to my old one with the new one that I submitted for the new account.

As far as payment goes someone mentioned that in the Apple Cash option in your Apple wallet you can create a temporary CC#. I did that, then added the money to the Apple Cash card and the transaction went through successfully. Worked perfect for a few hrs I was able to use the account like normal, then a few hrs later I got a prompt to do the selfie verification, when you get the prompt there's no way to dismiss it or get around it. You can't continue to use your account until you complete that step. So I did it and as soon as it processed my selfie it suspended my account. So yeah, looks like there's no way around it.
